Chapter 23

Jhoanna slumped out the couch groaning, Sheena following her. While Colet, Maloi and Gwen are preparing their food, they just came home from the mall because they were looking for something to wear to the school gala. Her friends were stressing out, because they still didn't have a dress. They also have two weeks before the gala, her friends are just over reacting.

They spent the whole day roaming around through the stores looking for the perfect dresses, fortunately, before the end of the day, her friends also found a perfect dress for them. While she didn't find anything, she was still checking to see if her allowance would be enough if she bought a dress. Her friends insisted on buying her a dress, but of course Jhoanna didn't want to. She doesn't want to be a burden to her friends, and besides, the school gala is still two weeks away so she can still find a way to buy a dress.

"Nakakapagod."She huffed while hugging the pillow beside her.

"Anong nakakapagod umupo ka nga lang maghapon, habang pinapanood kaming mamili ng damit."Sheena rolled her eyes."Sabi ko naman kasi sayo libre kana namin."

"Shee, alam mo namang ayaw ko non."

"Oo na nga, sabi ko nga. Eh nasaan na ba yung girlfriend mong mahilig sa kiss? Mabuti hindi ka niya ginugulo maghapon?"Sheena asked and sat on Jhoanna's back, literally at her back, the latter screamed at the weight of her friend.

"Aray! Bakit ka ba umupo sa likod ko? Ang bigat mo!"

Sheena just laughed and spoke again."Nako kabahan kana, baka hiwalayan kana non, dahil nalaman niyang hindi ka mahilig maligo—Aray!"

"Ano bang pinagsasabi mo. May inasikaso lang sila ng pamilya niya. I heard yung street na malapit satin, they bought it entirely so.."

Sheena gasped."No way! Ang yaman talaga nila. You really got yourself a sugar mommy. I'm proud of you sis."

"Sira."Jhoanna mumbled in response. Suddenly something silly came to her mind. She suddenly stood up, causing Sheena who was sitting at her back to fall on the ground.

"Aray!"

"Nakaganti na din ako, bagay lang sayo yan."

Jhoanna sticks out her tongue causing Sheena to chase her. They chase each other in the living room, until they get exhausted and tired.

"You rich people really shop like this?"Jhoanna stared at Stacey in disbelief and amusement. When Stacey said they were going dress shopping, Jhoanna did not expect to be in a luxurious building that sold dresses strictly to rich peoples. The owner is also a family friend of Stacey's parents, so they often go shopping there.

Stacey raised an eyebrow at her as they entered the shop. She let go of Jhoanna's hand, because someone might see the two of them together. Jhoanna understood that and just followed behind Stacey.

"What do you mean?"

"Why can't you shop like normal people do?"Jhoanna asked, pointing out the obvious. As far as she knows, when they go shopping at the mall, they usually have people who were shopping with them, even in luxurious brand shops. But now it's really just the two of them. They have no other company.

"This is how normal people do shopping."

"Ha? Tayong dalawa lang dito, paano naging normal yon. And the dresses they sold are strictly for rich people only."Jhoanna stated."You rich people are really something else."

Stacey just rolled her eyes at her girlfriend, she was about to hold Jhoanna's hand. But they were greeted by a middle aged woman who was also wearing expensive clothes."Miss Sevilleja, it's a pleasure to have you here again."
