Chapter 15

Okay danger alert!

Jhoanna thought she saw a familiar brown haired girl wearing chanel and pink heels turning her corner and walking in her direction. She quickly walked in another direction. She wanted to sprint as far away as possible. A couple of turns later she finally stopped. She waited a few minutes to see if Stacey could see her. When she realized she was safe, she finally let out a deep breath of relief and leaned on the wall.

After their interaction yesterday, she always meets Stacey whenever she goes. She's everywhere. Haunting her. Following her like a stupid ghost. If she will go to the cafeteria she's there, library-she's there, staircase and even in the bathroom she's freaking there.

Bakit? Ano ba talaga kailangan mo sakin Stacey?

Jhoanna doesn't want to talk to her. She tries to move forward. But it seems vague, because Stacey is bothering her everywhere she goes. She no longer has the energy for her bullying and playing with her feelings. Jhoanna is drained and tired of everything that has been happening since Stacey came into her life. She thought that space, distance and distraction that can help her to move on. But it was all lies. Nothing is helping. Nothing.

"Jhoanna, are you okay?"Taneo ran up to her as she was about to head sa council office.

She turned around to greet him."Oo okay lang ako."

"Parang ang lalim kasi ng iniisip mo. Mabuti nasagip pa kita bago ka malunod."He said laughing, Jhoanna also laughed because of that.

Since they were going the same way, they went together and when Jhoanna reached the council office she bid goodbye to Taneo and hurriedly entered the office. She knew there was no one inside because the lights were off, she would just take her bag that she left inside. Her friends were waiting for her in the cafeteria so she is in a hurry. Aiah even texted her if where is she.

After she got her bag she hurried to leave but before she could get out the door.

Someone suddenly spoke behind her.

"Why are you in a hurry?"

She jumped in shock because of that. And even if she didn't turn around, she already knew who it was because of the alluring smell of her expensive perfume, the flowery scents swirling with jasmine, lilac and rose that tickled Jhoanna's nose.

She knows it was Stacey.

No! Not her again! Jhoanna cried out in her mind.

"I thought you like my sister? But you're dating that hearthrob wannabe, wow." Jhoanna could hear the insult in her voice.

Dating? Sino? Pinagsasabi nito? She turned to Stacey with a frown. She wanted to say something but she couldn't because of Stacey's intense gaze that you will drown you. That deep stare that looks like she is looking right through you.  She was dressed with a simple white shirt, black pants and a black heels. Her casual, and simple beauty never cease to amazed Jhoanna.

"Where is the brave and responsive Jhoanna I know?"She asked with a grinned."But you're being a good girl, because I don't want you to talk unless I say so."

Stacey approached her switchly backing her in the wall. She didn't show any expression and she had her crossed arms observing her.

"You know you have to be more careful with guys, especailly that hearthrob wannabe."

Jhoanna looked angry and puzzled as Stacey kept on sending her mixed signals. She was saying one thing, while she did another. She was confused while Stacey suddenly warned her about Taneo.
