i laughed and put my phone in my tote bag. i slipped on my shoes and headed out the door.
it was now about 6 months or so since wesley has been gone. i feel better. better as in slowly feeling better and not healed. as i said before, i will never fully heal. my mom will never fully heal. my dad will never fully heal. none of us will ever fully heal. i don't think its possible. there is a piece of my life now that will always be missing, i just have to build around it.
my parents were behind the house, doing yard work like pulling weeds and lawn mowing or whatever. i got in my car and started driving. first off, i obviously drove to the cemetery. i wanted to visit wesley for a few minutes before heading to the cafe downtown and maybe a little bit of shopping or walking around.
