monday morning

ouch. that's all tali could say, her neck was sore, so was her back.

oscar looked guilty as hell, though. he had iced coffee in one hand, a pack of strudels in the other and he had just called room service to order breakfast.

"fuck you." tali mumbled sleepily.

"i deserve that." oscar nodded as he helped her up after laying the food he brought to a nearby table.

"did you sleep well?" she asked with a glare.

"i did." oscar nodded before earning a slap to the back of his head. "ow! sorry! you didn't mean that, i get it!" he said as she slapped him repeatedly all over where she could reach as she felt her back crack.

"i don't forgive you!" the mexican-french whined. "me duele el cuello, y también la espalda, et j'ai fait des cauchemars toute la nuit parce que je n'étais pas à l'aise." she continued her complains.

"you know i don't understand when you speak in other languages, especially when you mix them." he said grumpily as he handed her a strudel and her white mocha with vanilla foam.

her favorite.

"i forgive you." she said as she stared at the sugary food in her hands making the australian driver sigh in relief. tali didn't see this.

things tali doesn't know:

she's scary when she's angry.

"besides..." she began, "i already got my revenge." she said as she sipped her coffee.

"oh?" was all oscar said before closing his eyes in defeat. soon after they ordered breakfast and oscar left to get his bags.

as she headed to the lobby to give her key back she bumped into elias.

"hey."

"hey."

"you're leaving already?" the boy asked seeing her bags.

"yeah. i have to get to the airport soon." she shrugged. "oh by the way." she reached for a makeup bag that was not being used to store makeup.

"this is for you." she reached for a bracelet. a friendship bracelet.

"a bead bracelet?" he asked, amused.

"yes!" she said excitedly. "it's a friendship bracelet. they're inspired by a taylor swift song. i've been doing them since i got the tickets to exchange with other people." she said as she handed it to him.

it was simple. black and yellow beads and six letters. she hoped he didn't know the song 'hey stephen' or she'd be fucked but part of her hoped he knew.

......HS..ICHM......

"thanks." he said with a soft smile as he put it on. he wasn't taking it off. tali made it. it wasn't coming off, ever.
