Touch

Touch, it's something special for me , truly divine,
Some get a handshake, others a hug that's fine.
For years my castle stood, walls high and grand,
You brought hope, so I reached out my hand.

I let you touch me, my heart open wide,
But as I got closer, you began to hide.
The warmth of your touch, now a distant plea,
I never knew its worth 'til it was taken from me.

I needed your arms to hold me tight,
To feel loved and cared for, day and night.
Without your touch, my world’s turned gray,
An empty void, where I wish you'd stay.

I crave the comfort, the love I’ve missed,
The gentle caress, the tender kiss.
But now I stand alone, yearning for your embrace,
In this silent, cold, and empty space.
