Days passed since their walk in the snowfall. Hoshina found himself constantly thinking about Suori, her smile, her laughter, the warmth of her hand in his.

He tried to focus on his work, but his mind would always drift back to her. He knew he was falling for her, but he was too afraid to admit it even to himself.

He found himself looking out the window more often, hoping to catch a glimpse of her somewhere.

But it wasn't just a casual infatuation. The more he thought about her, the stronger his feelings became.

He found himself missing the small moments: hearing her voice, seeing her smile, simply being in her presence. He felt his heart ache every time he thought about her.

But...what is she isn't innocent? The investigation that they have done for almost one month and a half, what if she really is..the mastermind? Will he ever be able to make his feeling faded?

Hoshina felt a familiar pang of doubt. The investigation, the missing information, the strange building. Was it possible that Suori, the gentle, kind woman he was falling for, could be part of some sinister scheme?

His heart felt heavy at the thought. He didn't want to believe it, and yet he couldn't shake off the doubt.

He tried to push away the unpleasant thoughts from his mind. "No," he whispered to himself, "she can't be. She can't..."

"she won't do that kind of thing...even if she did,she must've a reason..."

Talking to himself as a familiar voice caught him off guard. "Who?". It was Ashiro, closing his office door, walking towards him.

Hoshina quickly snapped out of his thoughts, turning to face Ashiro.

"Oh, it's just you," he said, trying to sound nonchalant. "I was just... thinking out loud."

He casually leaned against the desk, hoping Ashiro didn't notice his tense expression.

Ashiro took a glance and back to his paperwork, untouched. "I've never seen you making that face before"

She tapped the paperwork,as if she were asking why he didn't finish it. "Mind telling me?"

Hoshina let out a small sigh, realizing that he couldn't keep his feelings a secret from Ashiro.

"I just..." he began, taking a deep breath, "I just have a lot on my mind right now."

He paused for a moment, contemplating whether to continue or not. But he knew he could trust Ashiro.

"It's about Suori," he finally said, his voice quieter than usual.

Ashiro raise an eyebrow, gaze darted towards him, reading his body language as she hum

Hoshina felt a little embarrassed under Ashiro's intense gaze. He could feel her analyzing every little movement, trying to read his emotions.

He let out a frustrated sigh, running a hand through his hair. "I've been thinking about her nonstop," he admitted, his voice laced with a hint of resignation.

Attention now were fully on him. "Even when we're doing the investigation?"

Hoshina let out a soft chuckle, feeling a wave of embarrassment. "Yeah, even then. It's like my mind just keeps going back to her, no matter what I'm doing."

He looked down at the floor, his expression a mix of confusion and frustration. "I don't understand it. She's just... I can't stop thinking about her. It's driving me crazy."
