If ever you're in my arms again - Peabo Bryson

Warning: death and suicide ‼️‼️

Hoshina's heart shattered into a thousand pieces as he watched with helpless despair as the woman he loved planned her own suicide in the pursuit of her revenge. The weight of the situation pressed down on him, crushing his hope and leaving him feeling empty and lost. The sight of her determination, knowing the terrible choice she'd made, devastated him, leaving him questioning the purpose and fairness of life itself.

Hoshina spoke with a shaky voice, struggling to contain his emotions. "Where is she?" he asked, his eyes pleading for an answer. Satori glanced at him, his own eyes closing as he drew in a deep breath. "In her lab," he replied softly, a hint of sadness in his tone.

Hoshina rose quickly, leaving Kanroji and Satori behind. He sprinted towards her lab, a sense of urgency pushing him forward. His mind was filled with desperation, and he pushed himself to go faster, needing to feel her touch once more before it was too late, before she was gone forever.

The words escaped his lips in a pleading whisper. "God, please... just give me a few more moments with her. Let me tell her how deeply I love her, how I longed to marry her." Tears streamed down his face as he ran towards her lab, the weight of the situation heavy in his heart.

He finally arrived at her lab, knocking on the door before gently opening it. Her soft figure appeared before him, as lovely as ever, yet there was a undeniable air of sickness about her. The poison she ingested must be taking its toll on her body, making her look sickly and frail. The sight of her like this only amplified his desperation and fear.

"Suori,my dear.."

He called out her name, his voice breaking as tears streamed down his face. Hoshina closed the distance between them, wrapping his arms around her tightly in a desperate embrace. "I missed you so much," he whispered, holding her close, as if afraid that if he let go, she'd disappear altogether.

Suori returned his embrace, her slender arms encircling him in a gentle hold. A small, soft smile graced her lips as she spoke. "You've read the letter, I take it..." There was a hint of resignation in her voice, acknowledging the reality of her decision.

Her voice trembled with remorse as she spoke, looking into his eyes. "I'm sorry.. I can't stay by your side like I promised." Her fingers gently brushed against his tear-stained cheeks, her touch a soothing balm against his heartache. She leaned in, placing a tender kiss on his dampened skin, silently conveying the depth of her affection and regret.

His voice pleaded desperately, his head resting against her shoulder as tears streamed down his face. "Please, love... don't leave me," he whispered, his voice hoarse with emotion. "I've loved you for so long... I don't want to lose you." The weight of impending loss settled heavily upon him, fueling his anguish and despair.

She spoke his name gently, her voice laced with sorrow and remorse. "Soshiro," she murmured, her own tears starting to fall. "I'm sorry," she added, her words choked by the emotion welling up within her. She looked at him through watery eyes, her own heartache and regret mirroring his own.

He gazed at her, tenderly touching away her tears with his fingertips. "In another life... without Kaiju, could you be my wife? Will you be my bride, the mother to our children?" His sweet words were like a gentle caress against her heart, and she found herself sobbing softly, the weight of their circumstances only making her love for him more intense in that moment.

His eyes filled with tears as he pleaded with her.

"Please, marry me Suori. I love you,"

he whispered, his voice raw with emotion. He gazed at her desperately, hoping against hope that she would say yes. He was aware that he was about to lose her in this life, but at this very moment, none of it mattered. If he could just marry the woman he adored and fall in love with her all over again in another life, he would patiently wait for that chance, regardless of the pain it would bring.
