The day had passed rather quickly, and the sun had begun to set, casting a warm orange hue over the horizon. Hoshina finished up the last of his paperwork, stretching his arms out and letting out a tired yawn. The never-ending pile of papers had finally come to an end, and he was more than ready to take a break. Ashiro was already packing up her things, preparing to head home for the day.

Hoshina stood up and stretched his sore muscles, as he mumbled, letting out another yawn. "I need a drink or ten to unwind after this."

Ashiro chuckled, slinging her bag over her shoulder. "You really hate paperwork, don't you?"

Hoshina groaned. "It's the worst. I'd rather face ten Kaiju at once than deal with this paperwork."

Ashiro chuckled again, clearly amused by his dramatic outburst. "You're such a drama queen, Hoshina. It's just paperwork, it can't possibly be that bad."

Hoshina shot her a glare. "You say that because you're a workaholic. You probably actually enjoy doing paperwork."

Ashiro smirked, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Maybe I just have a higher tolerance than you do."

Hoshina rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, rub it in. It's just not fair that you seem to thrive on the most mundane tasks."

"alright then. I'll take my leave"

Ashiro left the room

Hoshina watched Ashiro leave, a small pout on his face. He let out a long, exaggerated sigh, feeling the weight of boredom begin to settle in.

"Great. Now I'm all alone in this giant, empty office," he grumbled to himself.

He glanced around the room, noticing how unusually quiet it was without Ashiro's presence. Hoshina's eyes soon landed on the pile of papers still sitting on his desk.

Hoshina couldn't help but scrunch up his nose. No way he was going to tackle any more of those tonight.

He stood up from his chair and stretched his arms again, trying to shake off the monotony that threatened to consume him.

He decided to take a few minutes walk before he get back to the office, getting torture by the paperwork.

Everything went fine until he accidentally caught Suori's glimpse inside a cafe. And even more fascinating,it's his favourite cafe

Hoshina's heart skipped a beat as he saw Suori sitting alone in the cafe. He hadn't expected to run into her here, especially not when he was feeling bored and restless. His initial surprise quickly turned into a mixture of excitement and nervousness.

Hoshina lingered outside the cafe, debating with himself whether to go in or just walk away. His curiosity and interest in Suori, however, got the better of him.

This is just interest..right? It's not like he's falling for her or something. He entered the cafe, observing the cafe as he silently took a glance to Suori

As Hoshina stepped inside the cozy cafe, he took a moment to scan the place. The scent of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, creating a comforting and inviting atmosphere. But Hoshina quickly dismissed the surroundings and zeroed in on Suori, who was sitting at a nearby table.

He swallowed nervously, realizing that his heart was pounding a bit harder than usual. He was here to satisfy his interest, nothing more, he told himself.

Hoshina took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves. He decided to nonchalantly make his way to the counter to order a drink, all the while, keeping a watchful eye on Suori's table. He didn't want to appear too obvious, so he maintained his casual demeanor while secretly watching her.
