The next morning I woke up with a start. The damn nightmares of the things that I have seen won't go away. I curled back into my nice warm bedding. I had placed a dreamcatcher above the bed. I got up and went to the closet. I pulled out a black skirt and a shirt that was black with teal butterflies on it. I grabbed my tennis shoes. I got dressed and brushed my teeth. I went downstairs to make breakfast and grabbed my phone from the charger in the living room. After having a hearty breakfast I grabbed my purse which was a bag with my cleansing stuff in it along with my wallet. I walked out the door and went to my car. I drove toward the address on the card. But I had gotten the feeling that I was being watched. I pulled into what looked like an office building where I was supposed to go. I parked my car and started to get out when I got hit with something through my gift. I brushed it off as I walked into the building. As I walked in I the feeling got stronger. I took the elevator to the 13th floor. When the elevator stopped I walked to the door that read "Ghost Adventures team Offices" I knocked on the door and stood there for a moment. The door swung open and a bald guy with a beard asked "Can I help you?" I said "Aye I was looking for Zak. He told me to come here today. I met him at the herb shop." He said "come one in I'm Aaron goodwin'' I walked in and said "thank you my name is Amy." Aaron said "I will go get Zak." He walked away and I sat on a chair near the front door. Something wasn't right, someone has a gift here and it wasn't just me. Zak comes out of the office and says "hey Amy, I am glad that you could make it. Come on back to my office and we can start with the paperwork. Along with finding out more of what you know about the paranormal." I nodded and followed him back. Zak asked "did you have any problems finding the office?" I said "not really." We entered the office and he offered me a seat. Everything started off as paperwork. I was going to be his assistant and part of the crew when they did what they called lockdowns. Zak was a great person to be around. After signing all of the paperwork he showed me a desk in his office for the assistant position. I said "I appreciate the job. I just moved here about two weeks ago." Zak asked "where are you from you have an accent that I can't place." I said "oh I'm from the scottish highlands in Scotland." Zak said " they are dipped in legends." Oh aye lots of legends of the paranormal. Not that I went looking for it while I was there." We walked out of the office to where the others were. Aaron said "we have some help and someone to organize our offices." Zak said "guys this is amy she will be joining out crew and helping with our case loads." A guy came up to me and shook my hand. He said "I'm Jay and im one of the techs when it comes to the equipment on the lockdowns'' Another came up to me and said "I'm Billy the other tech.'" I said "Nice to meet you all.'' We all got to know each other over the next couple of hours. The only thing that I didn't tell them about was my curse that I deal with on a daily basis. It was getting late and I knew that tomorrow I would be organizing the case files. I got up to leave when Billy asked "Would you like to join us for dinner?" I said "that is awfully kind of ye but I think it would be best if I headed home for the evening." Billy nodded and I walked out of the door. When I got to my car it was like I could breathe a little easier. I drove home and made something simple for dinner. It wasn't long before I called it a night and went to bed.
