Chapter 15

After cleaning the house I crashed out on the couch with sage beside me. I soon fell asleep while watching tv. The nightmares of what was to come in Ireland were horrable. I woke up the next morning feeling sick to the stomach. I ran to the bathroom and threw up. I was almost in tears with the horrors that I had seen. I knew the guys would be here in a little while for the get together that I had planned. I went into my room and pulled on my black bikini with lace on both the bottoms and top. I slipped on a pair of black flip flops. I put on a black flowy dress that I had gotten before I moved here. I went back down stairs to let sage out into the garden. I walked out to put the charcoal into the grill. I made sure that the patio table and chairs were set up nicely. I never really used it since moving here. I went back in and fed Sage. I pulled out the chicken to marinate it in BBQ sauce and some spices. Once I mixed the spices and sauce together. I placed the chicken in a bag and poured the sauce over it and sealed the bag. After mixing it up I placed it into the frige until it was time to pull it out to put it on to the grill. I pulled out bowls and put a bag of chips in each bowl. I pulled out the good napkins and plates that were all black with a green celtic knot on them. I took them out to the table and set the table. After the table was set I went to the garden and got flowers to put into a vase in the middle of the table. I made sure everything was set. I looked at the time and noticed that the team would be here soon. I went over to start the grill and let it heat up soon. I went back inside and started to place the drinks on the breakfast bar. I took the chips and condiments out on the bar near the grill. Sage was ran past my feet. As I went back into the house I grabed the little bags that I had placed each of the teams amulets into it. Took them out to the my chair on the back porch. I heard knocking on the door sage ran past me to the door. I opened to the door to see Jay and Ash along with Billy. I said "come on in guys everything is ready in the back yard. Please make your self a home." they came in and I showed them to the back yard. Ash said "this looks amazing." I said "thank you. I will be right back." I went back to the kitchen and pulled out all of the meats that go onto the grill. As I was about to carry the stuff out to the grill when there was a knock on the door. I placed everything down and went to get the door. I opened the door and saw Zak and Aaron. I also noticed a dog with Zak. I invited them in and I said "let me guess this is gracie?" Zak said "of course she's my best friend." I bend down and petted her. I showed them to the back yard. Sage and Gracie started running around together. I went back in to grab the stuff that goes on the grill. As I was bringing the stuff out Zak came over and helped me bring out everything that I had to put on the grill. We set the stuff down and I started putting the meat on the grill. I saw sage and gracie near the pool. I thought to myself that this is not going to end well. One of us will have to get them out if they end up in the pool. As I was cooking on the grill Ash came over and handed me a bottle of water. It was a really hot day. I said "Thank ye." i just realized that my accent slipped out. Ash said "don't worry about." As stuff was getting done I placed the food in silver tins so that I could put them on the bar behind me. I covered them with foil to keep it all hot. The guys were having a good time just being themselves. This is what family is suppose to do. Aaron was goofing off and everyone was happy. I smiled as I called everyone over for food. Afer everyone had gotten food. I got my plate and got some food I sat down next to Zak. As we ate we all talked. Jayy asked "what were you like as a child growing up in the highland?" I said "I was a quiet lass always wanting exploring diffent areas. I was always learning new ways to try to control the gift that I was given." after everyone was finished eating I started to clear the table. Aaron offered to help me. We carried them inside and put them in the dishwasher. After that was done we walked back out. I grabbed the bags that has each of the guys name on them. I walked back out to where everyone was sitting as I was passing the pool the dogs ran by me and knocked me into the pool. After I was in the pool the dogs jumped too. I pulled the felt bags onto the side of the pool. Zak and the guys were laughing As I climbed out of the pool Jay and Zak helped me out of the pool Ash handed me a towel. I pulled off the dress revealing the bathing suit. I wrapped a towl around me. Now our task was to get the dogs out of the pool. Zak asked "may I use the bathroom to change into my swim trunks." I said "sure it's upstairs first door on the right." After Zak came back out. Each of the guys went to change into their bathing suits. I said "Ash you are welcome to use my bed room too change." Ash said "thank you Amy" She went into the house. I picked up each of the bags and placed them in each of the guy's spots. I even made one for Ash. Zak came over to me with a wet Sage. I said "you little devil you" I started laughing. Zak said "what is so funny. I said "sage's hair is like mine when wet its frizzy." Zak started laughing. He went back into the pool for gracie. I pulled two towels out of the cabnet and we both started drying the dogs off. After the dogs were dried off. I pulled out another towel and handed it to Zak. Zak said "thank you."
