Chapter 14

The next morning I woke up with sage laying next to me. We laid there a little longer before I decided that it was time to get my day started. I got up and took a shower. After the shower I got dressed in shorts and an black tank top. I let sage out into the back yard to do her business. Today was the day that i would go grocery shopping for the party that was in a few days . I knew that I had to clean the house after grocery shopping. I wanted to set a good impression with the rest of the team. I grabbed my keys and purse leaving sage by herself for a few hours while I went shopping I hoped the weather was good for the party. I walked out of the house and got into the car with the list. I drove toward the store. Once at the grocery store I went to get the stuff to make burgers, hotdogs sausages and chicken not sure what all everyone would like. After getting the meat I went to get the stuff to make sides besides chips. I was going to prepare a salad and making sure I had lettuce and tomatos for the burgers. I went down the condiment isle and grabbed all the condement for the party. Next stop was the produce and then the bakery to get the salad stuff and the rolls. I then went to get the drink isle I grabbed water, some sodas not sure what they liked so I grabbed pepsi products along with some gallons of tea. My final stop was the outdoor section where I could get he charcoal and lighter fluid for my grill. As I was looking at the charcoal when my phone went off. I looked at my phone to see it was Zak calling. I answered the phone saying "hey Zak what going on?" Zak said "I wanted to know if it was ok to bring Gracie to the get together. Sage and gracie could have a play date while we are all together." I said "sure no problem. She would like that. Would you message the guys letting them to bring a bathing suit if they want to go swimming in pool." Zak said "I don't mind letting them know see you in a few days. Bye" I said Bye and I hung up the phone. I grabbed the charcoal and the lighter fluid and went toward check out. Once I was checked out I went out to the car. I got everything put in to the trunk of the car and drove home. When I got home I noticed that there was a car in my drive way it looked like one of the guys car. I parked the car and got out I walked toward the car and it looked like jays car. The window rolled down and I noticed it was ash in the drivers seat. I knocked on the window and she rolled the window. I said "hey girl what's going on?" Ash said "I thought we could have some girl time." I said "sure would you mind helping bring the groceries into the house. Its all stuff for the party that everyone is coming too." Ash said "sure" So I unlocked the house. Ash and I both grabbbed stuff from the car. We took the stuff into the house Sage ran around our feet. I said "we can put the stuff in the kitchen." So we went a few more trips to the car. Once everything was in the house Ash and I put things away. Ash asked "are you ready to go to ireland with the guys?" I said "i'm a little worried about what is going to be experienced. There are legends throught out the scottish hightlands. I was warned to never enter the caves between the worlds." Ash asked "have you told Zak about the warnings you had recieved?" I said "no because they were ment for me by the clan leaders." Ash and I took sage out to the garden where I started working on getting the patio area cleaned up so that I could have th guys over. Ash said "I never knew you had a pool." I said "I never realized it was there until sage jumped in it the other day." Ash starting laughing. We cleaned up the everything and I went into the house and grabbed us both a bottle of water. We sat out on the patio and just talked about everything. I told Ash that I had made the guys each a protection amulet and that it was to protect them from what was in Ireland. Sage had curled up next to ash and was sleeping. Ash said "jay is looking forward to the little get together." I said "thats good I am just a little about this trip I want to do everything in my power to try to protect the team but they have to take these legends seriously. They don't know what danger can arise if they provoke the wrong entity." Ash soon left for the night and I went to start cleaning the house knowing that it would take me at least a few hours.
