Chapter 11

Amy's P.O.V.

When I got back to the hotel room for the night I couldn't help but notice that Zak was staring at me. I didn't want the rest of the team to worry about me while on this lockdown. I was up a little longer before I went to bed. I took a shower and braided my hair. I had called Ashley to check in on Sage. I was starting to really miss her, especially at night. Ash told me everything was fine and that sage was being well behaved. After I got off the phone with her I brushed my teeth and changed into some Pj pants and a tank top. I went to bed praying that the nightmares would stay away along with the anxiety. Throughout the night I kept waking up with nightmares and I had an anxiety attack. The last anxiety attack I got up from the bed and went to wash my face. As I was washing my face there was a knock on my door. I looked at the clock and it read 3am. Who would be at my door at this hour. I opened the door to find Zak. He asked "Are you ok?" I said "not really but i'm use to these nightly attack what are you doing up?" Zak said "I was worried about you" i smiled at that and said "thank you for coming to check on me it was sweet of ye." My accent slipped out. Zak nodded and went back to his room. I closed the door and went back to bed. I fell back asleep. When I woke up the next morning I got up and got ready to go to this lockdown. I was still feeling uneasy about it considering the nightmares that I got from just being near the Island. I sat down to meditate to clear my head before heading back to the Island. I was going to make protection medallions for the guys. Just so that they didn't get possessed or attacked by an evil entity. I was going to do that when I got home from this trip. While I was meditating there was a knock on the door. I got up from my meditation area and opened the door to find Billy and Zak. I said "come in'' Billy said "Everyone is going to go get something to eat before the investigation and wanted to know if you wanted to come with us." I said "sure just let me clean up my meditation stuff. I picked up the incense and the blanket I was sitting on. I put them away and slipped on my boots. Zak seemed to watch me as I put everything away." We left the room making sure I grabbed my key and purse. We met Aaron and Jay in the lobby of the hotel. I was having problems with controlling the anxiety that started to build in my chest. That it has caused me not to eat a whole lot at dinner. I noticed that Zak was watching me throughout dinner. We all soon left to go to the Island of the dolls. As we were getting closer to the dock the anxiety got worse and I noticed my hands were starting to shake. This entity did not want me there that was clear as day. I was holding on to my necklaces trying to rein in the anxiety when I felt someone take my hand in theirs. I looked over to find the hand belonged to Zak. I tried to take my hand away but he didn't let go. We pulled up to the dock and got out. Zak pulled me to the side and asked "what's wrong?" I said "It's nothing I just have a really bad feeling about tonight. Just be careful." He nodded and we got on the boat. I sat next to Jay. I said "he is getting suspicious about everything going on with me. Just be careful tonight on the Island." It was starting to get dark as we approached. I got this sick feeling in my stomach as the evil energy hit me full on. I took a deep breath and the guys set up nerve on the boat. Aaron and Zak went onto the Island. Aaron had a camera as they took off onto the island. I sat at nerve and watched the screen. I could tell something was going to happen to one of them. I felt burning on my side. Jay noticed that something was wrong. I bent over trying to breathe through it. Jay radioed the guys. I lifted up my shirt to see. Aaron and Zak came running towards us as I was lifting my shirt. Jay said "you have 3 scratches on your side." I felt sick. Zak took photos of the marks. I said "Aaron handed me my bag. I need the sage now" Aaron handed me the bag and I grabbed the sage and lit it. I said a prayer and did a cleansing. After I did a cleansing I went back to watch the monitors with Jay. They got some evidence. By the time that the sun started to come up I was feeling drained of energy. I was zoning out and playing with my amulet when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I jumped out of my skin. Aaron said "oh shit i'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you." I said, "It's fine Aaron." He handed me the box of equipment. I placed them on the boat. After everything was loaded we headed back to the main dock and then back to the hotel. I was looking forward to getting some rest and then back home to sage.
