Chapter 12

Amy POV continued.

The flight back went well. When we got back to Vegas. Jay and I picked up by Ash. When I got in the car I was knocked back by my sage. I said "thank you Ash for watching her. It good to have her back." Ash said "She was great to have around." I said "she made the night go easier with the curse. You are a wonderful friend for watching her." Sage sat on my lap. They dropped me and sage off at home. I walked in and lit sage to clear all negative energy that may have followed me home. I unpacked all the bags including sage's. I made some pasta for dinner and ate. After dinner I took a shower and sage and I went to bed. That night I slept better than I did while we were away. The next few days I was drained of energy and it was not too good. I hide a way from everyone. I spent time with sage in the garden. I know the house came with a pool and hot tub but I preferred the garden part of it. I was sitting on the back porch when there was a knock on the door. Sage started barking. I got up and went to answer the door. I opened the door to find Zak. I said "come on in.'' I opened the door wider sage went over to him. Zak came in and I shut the door behind him. I said "Make yourself a home" he looked around. Zak said "We need to talk. About what is going on with you it's not just the panic and anxiety attacks." i said " no it's not it is time you find out the truth. Would you like something to drink and we can take this conversation to the garden'' Zak said "water is fine" I grabbed a bottle out of the fridge. I handed him the bottle of water and we walked out to the garden. Sage followed us. We both took a seat on each of the chairs on the back porch. I took a deep breath and said I have abilities. I can see and talk to spirits.

I can also sense the energy of the Paranormal.

I can tell whether or not the energy is demonic or just a normal human spirit.

I can also tell whether energy is part of the earth.

I am also a healer or witch as some people call me.

But with all gifts or curse as I call it there is a price to pay. I suffer from anxiety attacks and panic attacks. But the nightmares are worse. There are also time when I get pulled into a vision. The night we were at the plantation I was pulled into a vision of the slave being hung. I know you are a empath yourself. I get how hard it is to be around the energies." Zak sat there quiet for a few minutes taking in everything that I just told him. Zak asked "why didn't you say anything to me?" I said "it's my burden to carry and I didn't want anyone to worry about me. I am stronger than I look. No i'm not a witch." Zak said "I wouldn't have thought you to be a burden nor would I would have treated you any different." I said "I am sorry I kept it from you. I am still trying to get control of it. I come from a completely different world. I know we have a trip to Ireland planned and I am willing to investigate with you but take the warnings that you are given seriously." Zak said "you are still willing to go?" I said "I wouldn't let the team down you all are all really great guys and I wouldn't want to see any of you hurt." Zak said "I want you to be comfortable around everyone and if you don't want to go into a location because of the feeling you get then please come to me." I said "I will i know you care about the team and the show. But i worry about the effect of some of the locations have on you and the others. I always cleanse after every investigation." Zak took my hand in his and said "we are all a family and we stick together." just then Sage decided to jump up onto my lap. Zak said "thank you for trusting me with this." I said "I trust you guys to keep me safe during the lockdowns. It just took me a while to get the courage to open up to tell you and the other guys. Ash only found out the first investigation because I had not slept in weeks." Zak ask "was it because of anxiety and panic attacks?" I said "not just that the nightmares are just as bad." He grabbed my hand making Sage jump off. I threw her ball to play. I said "you have a gift, and you have to be careful during the investigations." he said "I know" I was planning to invite the team for a cookout before we head off to Ireland. There I was going to give them each a protection amulet. Zak and I sat there in a comfortable silence just playing with sage. He soon had to leave to start reviewing the evidence. I walked him to the door and said "I will see you tomorrow at the office."

Zak's P.O.V.

I was happy that Amy finally opened up to me. She really does care about the team. Just putting herself in danger just to make sure that nobody gets harmed. I was a little surprised that she wanted to come with us to Ireland. I left her house and went home to work on some of the evidence that we got from the Island of the dolls. I had gone over to Amy's to make sure that she was alright after what happened at the Island. When I got home I went into the house to let out Gracie to use the bathroom. I was starting to fall for Amy. She was truly an amazing person. I couldn't help but notice some of the stuff from Scotland in her home. The garden was amazing and beautiful just like she was. Sage would get along with Gracie. I was planning on sticking around to make sure that she is ok and to help with her anxiety. But I worry if we get a case that has a demonic entity if it will try to attach itself to her or myself. I made something for dinner and went to bed for a early night.
