Chapter 13

Amy's P.O.V.

After Zak left it was just me and sage. I made some dinner before I started working on the amulets for the team. I wanted to make sure that they are protected for Ireland. I also want to have the team over for a cook out since it will be a good way to let loose and have some fun. As I worked on the amulets Sage laid with me. I also burnt sticks of sage to make sure that the engery that I put into them is nothing but pure and protective. I made some dinner before having to go to work in the morning sage will go with me again. After dinner I sat down on the couch and watched a little bit of tv. Not that their was a lot on the tv. I soon went up to bed with sage following right behind me.

The next morning when i got up. I dressed in a pair of shorts and a back shirt. I slipped on a pair of tennis shoes. I pulled my hair up into a hair clip and took Sage downstairs. I put food into her bowl and made sure she had freash water in her dish. I let her out to do her business and let her back in. I grabbed her leash so that she could come with me. It made it easier to work just in case my anxiety gets out of control. But I also wanted to invite everyone over for the cook out and then I can give them the protection amulets. I grabbed everything that I needed for sage and went out to the car with her on her leash. I pulled into the office and got out with Sage in tow. I let her use the bathroom before going into the office. I was trying to think of a way to invite the guys over for the cookout. After sage was done with her business. We went into the office. Once I opened the door I saw Aaron and Jay. Sage took off toward Aaron and jumped on him. I said "sage come on let him up. Sorry Aaron i dont know what has gotten into her today." Jay asked "did you talk to Zak?" I said "he came by last night and he knows everything." They both nodded as I walked back toward where my desk was. I got sage situated at my desk and got started putting together the info packets for the Ireland cases. As I was doing that Zak came into the office. I said "good morning" Zak said "morning, you seem like you are in a good mood after yesterday" I said "I had a lot of time to really think about how this team is like a family. I was wondering if you and the guys would come over to my house for a cook out and get together before we head off to Ireland." Zak said "that sounds like a great idea." He called the team into the office and I told them about the cook out and get together. They were all for it. As we were all starting to discuss this trip. I had a bad feeling about Ireland. But I wasn't sure that I should say anything to them yet. Sage stayed by me knowing something was going on with me. I was working on some paperwork to try to get all of the info packets making sure that I had all of history of the places we were going to be at but I had heard of a few of these places and was warned about the cave between the worlds. I was told by a friend of mine to never enter that place on Halloween. The goddess would surely show no mercy for those who enter that cave. Zak must have noticed that I was thinking about something because he asked "Are you ok Amy? You seem a little out of it. " I said "I am fine just thinking about this trip and about a few things that were told through out the highlands." Zak came over and sage went over to him. Zak bent down and started petting sage. Zak asked "what was told to you in the highlands about these locations." I said "Their were different warnings that I was given it was to never enter that cave on halloween. The goddess who resides would show no mercy but that was the local legend. But i just have a really bad feeling about this trip." Zak said "i wouldn't worry about it right away." I nodded as I was finishing up the paperwork. I soon packed up to head home because I had alot to plan and clean before the crew came to the house. I said bye to everyone and headed home. When I got home sage and I went out to the garden so that she could use the bathroom and I sat out enjoying the piece and quiet of the garden. I went back inside to find a pen and some paper that way I can make the list of things to get for the get together. After the list was made I went to bed making sure that everything was off in the house. Sage and I went to bed.
