Chapter 6

Once we met with everyone we went to the plantation. As we were driving to it I could sense two little girls and A woman who was a slave. I tried to brush off the feeling but it was starting to affect me. Ashley and Jay both grabbed my hands to steady them. I mouthed a thank you. Once we arrived at the plantation house I saw the woman as I got out. As we got the tour of the location I saw the kids running around playing. I smiled at them and the looked at me. The woman came up to me and said "i didn't do it master blamed me for poisoning the kids miss please tell them." I nodded and felt her disappear until later. I walked outside while Zak was getting the encounters. I sat by the tree where the slave was hung. I knew I was not alone. After the interviews were done we went for dinner and then back to the hotel. When we got back to the hotel I was feeling drained from the day. I took my sage and lavender mix and went to the court yard to start the cleansing and meditation process that normally takes about an hour in order to get my energy back in place. After I was done with that I went back up to the room where I found Zak sitting on the couch watching tv. Zak asked "where were you?" I said "I was meditating and cleansing the energy around myself" I didn't want to open up about anything that was none of their business. Zak nodded. It looked like he was going to ask something when there was a knock on the door. Zak opened the door to find Ashley. Ashley said "I wanted to know if Amy and I could have dinner together so that you guys can prepare for tomorrow night." Zal said "it's fine with me if Amy is ok with it." I said "aye that fine." I grabbed my bag and said "I said "We will talk later Zak." I breathed a sigh of relief thankful to get out of that situation. I left the room with Ash.

Once we were out of the hotel I said "thank you for getting me out of the situation. He was going to question me about why I was outside cleansing my energy and meditating." Ashley said "no problem. But I think you need to talk to them after this investigation." I said "I will tell them when I'm ready Ash. I want to tell them but i struggle with this." Ash and I went to a small diner. We sat down in a booth. I said "earlier at the plantation I saw things and heard things that I wish I didn't. But I saw children running around." Ashley said "I felt that something running around when we were doing interviews." We ordered dinner and ate. We walked back to the hotel. I went back to Zak and I's room. As I entered the room I saw Zak sitting on the couch. Zak asked "How was dinner?" I said "it was good I know you have questions for me and answer them when I am ready to open up." Zak said "you can come to me when you are ready." I nodded and went to change into some pjs in the bathroom. I came out and crawled into bed. I wore my amulet and cross to bed and just blocked everything out to prepare myself for tomorrow night. Throughout the night I kept getting anxiety attacks. I got up out of bed at one point and went to throw water on my face. This curse has taken a toll on me both physically and mentally. I laid on the couch hoping to get myself under control. The next morning I was woken up to someone shaking me. I looked at who had shaken me and saw that it was Zak. Zak asked "are you ok?" I said "I'm fine nothing to worry about." I knew tonight was going to be hell on me. I just hope nothing follows me home. I got up off the couch and went to get dressed for the investigation. I walked out and said to Zak ''I'm going for tea and coffee. Do you want some?" Zak said "sure just take one of the guys with you." I nodded and grabbed my bag. I knocked on Aarons door and he answered. I said "want to go with me to get everyone coffee?" Aaron smiled and said "sure." We walked out of the hotel. As we were walking Aaron asked "ok this is not just nerves talking with the investigation what's up with you." I took a deep breath and said "I'm a sensitive like medium.... Its something I deal with but it's more than that i can tell if the energy is good or demonic and im what they called a healer in the highlands.... Aaron this is not something I want everyone to know people have told me that it is a gift but its a curse in my eyes. It causes my anxiety attacks along with panic attacks." Aaron wrapped an arm around me and said "that is why you have been acting strange." I nodded my head yes. We entered the coffee shop got coffee for everyone and I got tea. On the way back to the hotel Aaron asked "are you going to tell Zak he needs to know?" I said "when the time is right there was a reason I was surprised that I was sharing a room with him. I need my own space to perform my cleansing and meditation to go into a space with a clear head." Aaron said "the sage you showed me that is what you use." i nodded. Aaron said "I'm glad you told me and don't worry I will protect you tonight." I said "what is their is not evil i saw the slave and children. The slave told me she was wrongfully accused." Aaron asked "how could you tell." I said "they were once human and they look like you and I." We got back to the hotel with the drinks and got ready for the lockdown in a couple of hours.
