Kathleen had invited Tory over before they had to go to the dojo. It's her first time ever seeing the Gomez home from the inside. She was surprised how huge and how it was wrapped in huge gates.
Tory was sitting in Kathleen's bed while she was looking for an outfit. "We're going to the woods. You don't need to decide on what to wear. Just throw something on." Tori suggested while she looked at her best friend stressing over clothes.
"Tory please. I'm trying to look presentable for Miguel." Kathleen said smiling while she grabbed a shirt and looked in the mirror with it pressed to her.
"WOW. Since when do you care what you wear. Don't you normally just throw any expensive brand clothing on?" Tory asked. She was right, Kathleen would just put on anything that was cute, everything in her closet, she was just confused on why today was an exception.
"Ok yes, but we are gonna be in the woods so I have to think sporty but cute. And trust me I don't have much clothes for the woods." Kathleen explained while she was throwing clothes on her bed.
"You really like him don't you? I mean we just met but it seems like I've known you all my life, Miguel brings out the best in you." Tory blurted smiling.
Kathleen couldn't stop the corners of her lips turning upwards.
"He does. I love him." She finally admitted in front of her friend.
"Wait have you guys said it to each other yet?" Tory asked excitedly.
"No not yet. But soon I hope." She was so happy with Miguel, there was no doubt in her heart that she was in love. She just hoped he felt the same way. "But how about you and Zack? You guys are so cute."
"Great, he is so amazing. But of course there are times where he can't stop talking about Sam. It's like that's all he thinks about." Tory said in annoyance.
Kathleen felt bad for her. She might not understand what that feels like but she felt for the girl, Zack still likes Sam but he needs to understand he's dating Tory right now.
Tory let out a small sigh and looked at her best friend. "Can you talk to him? Or Sam? Tell her to leave him alone, I really don't want problems."
"I'm not speaking to her right now, I thought you knew that." Kathleen walked back to the closet looking for her outfit. "Plus why don't you talk to Zack yourself? He's your boyfriend after all."
"But you know Sam, does she seem like the type to steal back her ex boyfriend?" Tory asked. "Plus you guys are like relatives right? Go to her house and tell her to back off or there will be problems."
Kathleen just looked down at the jacket in her hand. She could help Tory out but at the moment she didn't want to speak with Sam. She wanted Sam to apologize first, she was in the wrong. She made her feel like she had to choice between her and her boyfriend. Kathleen didn't like that, so she chose the person who was there for her lately, and that person was not Sam.
