It was the day of the All Valley tournament.
Both Miguel and Kathleen got up super early to get ready and head to the tournament.
Kathleen has to go home but before she leaves she wishes Miguel luck, since she won't be able to see him till after the tournament.
Maybe she could sneak into the back and try to see him before. Maybe she will.

While Kathleen was getting dressed she got a call from Sam.
"Hey, um, are you going to the tournament?" Sam asked Kathleen once she accepted the call.
"Uh, yeah, I have to support my boyfriend Sam. You would have too as well, but you know.." Kathleen started but stopped herself not wanting the girl to feel some type of way, knowing what happened at the Canyon.
"Can we meet outside the building and sit together? I don't want to be alone." Shrugging nervously, Sam asked her friend.
"Yeah. Moon and Demetri will be there as well. If you want we can sit with them?"
"I don't know. I don't want to be around anyone else. I just want to be with you." Sam told her best friend of more than 10 years of friendship.
"Sure. Whatever you need to make you feel better." Kathleen felt bad for Sam. In the past two months she's been dealing with a lot of crap.
Having a rumor spread about her going down on Kyler, Yasmine dropping their friendship and Zack breaking up with her.
Sam needed Kathleen's support at the moment. She's the only person who could make her feel better, or at least forget about what was happening in that moment. They're each other's support buddies, they're always there for one another.
Once Sam ended the call Kathleen finished getting ready. She wore one of Miguel's t-shirts he let her borrow, it was oversized so she cropped it a little. She also wore a pair of shorts and her high top converse.

Once outside the tournament Kathleen met up with Sam who looked miserable.
"Hey. How are you feeling?" She asked Sam once everyone started walking inside. With Daniel, Amanda, and Anthony further ahead of them.
Sam shrugged a shoulder looking down not wanting to be there. "Eh. Not better at all. I want to be here for him, but with what he did I just want to stay away from him..."
"But you can't." Kathleen finished the sentence for her. "You like him too much to not show support. I get it."
"Whatever. I'll probably just leave a little bit earlier. Don't want to face him right now."
