There was practice that morning and Kathleen was getting ready when her father walked in.
"Good Morning hermosa." Diego gushed as he walked through his daughter's doors. Kathleen was sitting at her vanity braiding her hair, and smiled looking at her dad from the mirror.
"Morning dad. I thought you were in San Francisco?" She asked curiously. Her mother had traveled to Washington for work. Recently her parents hadn't been home as much, so she didn't expect him to still be home.
"I um- I'm on my way now," Kathleen couldn't help the way her dad was fidgeting and acting nervous, like he wanted to say something. "I need a favor."
There it was. Her parents never asked her for anything, especially now.
"I need you to stay with Alex this morning." Alex said demanding.
With her eyes widened, and mouth agape, Kathleen was astonished by her father's request. "No, I have practice today, why can't he stay with Anthony?"
"He can't always be at the LaRusso's home." Diego deadpanned. "Just for today Lena. I promise, I couldn't hire someone fast enough. I'll buy you all the heels you want." He said trying to bribe his daughter.
Kathleen had to think about for a bit. She could technically skip a day, she just had to inform her Sensei's and Miguel, they would be worried. Plus she'll have all the heels she's always wanted.
With a small grin she accepted her dad's deal. He had walked downstairs getting ready while Kathleen sent a message to Miguel. She obviously didn't have her Sensei's phone number so she told Miguel to let them know.
After seeing the approved message from her boyfriend she walked downstairs to say goodbye to her dad. With him gone now it was just her and Alex. She made sure he ate and after they just pretty much sat on the couch and did their own thing. Kathleen was on her iPad and Alex was playing his game.
With a knock and her doorbell going off the two Gomez sibling were confused. No one they knew were available at the time so they wondered who was at the door, but once Kathleen walked to the front and opened the door she was confused.
"Sensei Kreese, what are you doing here don't you have a class?" She confusedly asked her teacher.
"I am no longer a Sensei in Cobra Kai," That really had the girl in front of him dumbfounded. "But I do have a proposal for you Kathleen."
Kathleen didn't know what to do or what to say so she just stood there waiting for Kreese to finish his sentence.
"If I, by any chance, open up my own dojo, would you join me? I could really use your skills."
What the fuck? Was all she could think about. Was he serious? No way she would ever join him, right?
"Uh- Um Sensei I don't know. I mean, I would never betray Sensei Lawrence or my friends, or Miguel." Kathleen admitted quietly.
