~~~Axel's pov~~~

Normally when I wake up my neck is tucked into Alanna's neck and my cock nestled against her back, but when I wake up she's not there.

I lift my head and look around her, and I find her sitting by my window, looking outside.

I sit up. "You ok?"

Stupid question since her life got turned upside down.

She turns around and looks at me. "Yeah, just a bit restless. Did I wake you?" She asked.

I shake my head. "No, but if you want we can go for a run. That usually helps me when I'm feeling restless and I guarantee your wolf wants to run since you didn't shift for long."

Her eyes glaze over letting me know she's talking to her wolf.

After a few seconds she looks at me. "Yeah let's go" She said.

I grab my phone and see it's only an hour until sunrise. "Ok, I have just the spot we can go to."

We'll run for awhile then once it's just about time for the sun to come up we'll shift back and we can watch the sunrise together.

When I was younger I'd go for a run then watch the sunrise all the time, it was one of my favorite things to do and I'm so gald I finally get to experience that with her.

"I'd take your clothes off here then shift since you don't wanna rip your clothes, unless you don't care then just go for it."

"I'd rather not rip my clothes" She said.

I nodded. "Smart choice. I'll shift first then meet me in the backyard."

"Ok" She said.

I shake my body and fur, getting used to being in my body again.

"Ok what are we not going to do?" Alanna asked.

I let out a huff.

Not mate with Ajax.

"Very good" She said.

Thanks mom.

"Shut up... I'm doing this for your own good" She said.

I know she is, but if I'm in heat there's no way I'm not letting that alpha mount me.

If you're wondering, I can't get pregnant in my wolf form.

Werewolves can only get pregnant in their human form so I can still mate, but I just can't get pregnant.

I'm not due for my first heat for 6 months so that's plenty of enough time to find out if Ajax and Axel are our mates or not.

I won't tell Alanna this because she's trying to not get her hopes up, but I feel like Axel and Ajax are our mates.

It's a pull I immediately felt when I first saw Axel when I shifted.

When I brushed up against him and he was petting me I felt electric shocks all over my body and that's how it's supposed to feel when you touch your mate, just way more intense.

This is my first time meeting Ajax in person so I'm excited.

Since I shifted we've been talking through the pack bond although like I said I think it's the mate bond, and Ajax agrees, but we won't tell Alanna and Axel that.

"What's taking you so long?" Ajax asked.

"I'm coming."

I go through the window and hop down into the backyard where Ajax is waiting for me and holy shit he's beautiful.
