"Hey mama? Can I go take a picture with that guy over there?" I heard a kid ask, pointing in my direction.

I just stood there as their mom nodded her head, and they ran over.

I don't want to make the wrong move, and embarrass myself infront of them.

So,.James and I continue to talk.

"Excuse me?" The kid, which looks around thirteen or twelve tugs on my shirt sleeve.

"Yes?" I'm surprised they were talking about me.

"Can I take a picture with you?" They asked.

"Why?"

"Because I think you're cool..."

"Thank you, but first what's your name?" I giggle a lil.

"Lewiston. What's your name?" Lewiston answer.

"I'm Lee, Lee Codsworth," I reply, offering my hand for a handshake.

He takes it.

"Soz can we take a picture?" He gets really excited. "And, I'm assuming your boyfriend, can be in the photo!"

His eyes glisten in the sun, with the look that says he knows everything about my LGBTQ+-ness.

I smile. "Yo, James, wanna take a picture with Lewiston?"

"Sure, why not?" He walks over, and grabs my hand.

Lewiston stands in front of us, and we pose.

I'm giving the peace sign, and James is holding up our hands.

I've got a big, genuine grin on my face.

"Yay! Thank you! Keep being bisexual!" Lewiston waves goodbye before running off.

I laugh a bit. We'll never stop.

"Lewiston, why did you want to take a photo with those two?" His mom asks him.

"Uhm, well. I wanted a photo of me and two really cool bisexuals. One of them is trans, I can tell..."

"Why?"

"Uhm, well. I'm. Uh. Bisexual.." he comes clean.

"Ok, cool, nice, awesome. Wanna go get cupcakes to celebrate?" His mom wraps a arm around him, and puts him on her shoulders.

"You mean you support?" He asks. "And yeah!"

"Of course I do, why wouldn't I?"

I smile, glad to know there's moms that love their kids when they come out as anything in the LGBTQ+ community.
