James and I arrive at Mar's home.
I look at the address she gave me, and back at the house again.
"We sure this is the right place? This is a mansion!" James exclaims.
"This is the house with the address she gave me. So, yeah, I guess," I answer, surprised.
She's got a well kept together yard, a fence that blocks animals from destroying it, a giant, must be three stories, high house, that is a wonder red colour.
James an I walk up the steps, and ring the doorbell.
The door flings open.
"Who're you two?" The woman asked.
"We're here for Mar." James and I reply in unison.
"Ugh, ok." She rolls her eyes a bit, clearly gone through this a million times. "MAR! TWO PEOPLE ARE HERE FOR YOU!" She screams.
"Ok! I'll be down soon!" Mar yells back.
"Come on in, would you two like any drinks? We've got apple juice and water," the mom offers.
"Can we get some water?" James asks.
"For you?" She asks me.
"Uh, apple juice please," I reply.
"Oh, jeez! Oh thank god, it's you two! Welcome! Would you like to go up to my room?" Mar seems out of breath as she makes it downstairs.
"I'm getting them drinks!" Her mom calls out.
"Oh! Ok! We can wait!" Mar calls back.
"Hi Mar!" James waves.
"Hello! How old are you two? Fourteen, fifteen?" She collapse onto the couch. "Sit down!"
We sit down. "I'm pretty sure, I forgot my age!" I say as James hugs me.
She giggles. "I'm fifteen, so not far from our age differences!"
"Wow! I wasn't expecting someone our age!" James says, surprised.
"Honestly, I was expecting older!" Mar smiles.
Her mom comes out with the water and apple juice.
"You three can go upstairs to the study room!" Her mom informs us.
"Oh, ok! Cool," Mar says as she gets up.
We both stand up, apple juice and water in hand, and walk up the stairs to the second floor.
We enter a room, and Mar closes the door.
We sit down at a table, and she pulls out a pile of neatly stapled papers.
"This, is your book. Revised, and edited. Because I'm insane. So, you two can go through it, and tell me if I messed up something you meant!" Mar hands us the entire stack of paper.
It takes us a few hours before we're down reading.
"Everything looks good!" I reply as I hand her the book back.
"Ok, so we need an cover for the book, and the description! I have yet to print the description out that you gave me, so I'm gonna go do that, while you two make the cover!" Mar stands up, and walks over the her printer.
We start drawing a rough sketch of what we want the cover to look like.
I grab some colours that she provided us with, and colour it in.
Mar sits down, and looks at the cover we made.
"Looks good! Now all we need to do is make this into a book size, with the cover and description on it, and send it to the book makers to make the book!" Mar claps her hands.
So, all three of us get to work, making a book version of everything. Each page, the back cover, the front cover. EVERYTHING.
Soon, after about six hours, we're almost done.
I place the last finishing touches to it, and now we're done!
Mar picks it up and looks through it to make sure every page is in the correct spot, and everything looks good.
"Ok, so now we package this book up," Mar speaks as she grabs a box. "And send it away to the book makers!"
Mar packages the book up, nice and safe.
She sends it down a chute, probably leading down to her mail sending out box or something.
"And now, we wait. I will contact you when the book makers have sent me the actual book, and tells me when it's gonna go to stores, in the U.S and Ukraine!" Mar smiles. "Would you like to stay for dinner?"
I look at James, he nods.
"Sure, why not?" I answer.
I'm starving anyway.
