Mya was in the office, talking with Millie and Moxxie, as she cradled Silas, feeding him a bottle. They didn’t even notice Octavia sneaking into the office to steal the Grimoire out of Blitzo’s office. Mya felt a strange energy, as Octavia opened a portal to Earth.

“Someone is in here,” she said, before looking over, seeing the flickering lights. She got up quickly and hurried to the door, keeping her baby away from it as she grabbed a knife. She kicked open the office door and tensed seeing Octavia. Octavia looked back at her, before stepping into the portal. Mya hurried to the portal, only for it to close. “Shit!” She hurried out of Blitzo’s office. “We’ve got a problem.”

“What is it?” Millie asked.

“The book’s gone,” Mya said, making Blitzo sit up from the couch and look at her.

“What?!!” he yelled.

“Octavia stole it, and she went Satan knows where with it,” Mya said.

“Yeah, Stolas’s daughter was here,” Loona said plainly, not looking up from her phone.

“What are we gonna do?!” Blitzo asked. “What am I supposed to tell Stolas?!”

“Well, he seems to like you, sir. Just tell him the truth, I’m sure he’ll understand,” Moxxie suggested.

“Okay, my dick is good, but it’s not that good, Moxxie,” Blitzo said, looking nervous, trying to come up with a plan.

“Yeah, if there’s one thing that Stolas does not joke about, it’s his children,” Mya said. “I’ll call him.” She put her knife away and pulled out her phone. “He may take it a little easier coming from me.”

“Yeah, you do that, take the blame,” Blitzo said, pacing back and forth, while Mya was on the phone with Stolas, breaking the news about Octavia to him. Once she hung up she sighed deeply. “I take it he took it well?” he asked, sounding hopeful. Shortly after, the front door is blown off of the hinges and Stolas’s voice is heard.

“BLIIIIIIITZ!!!!” he yelled angrily.

“He in fact did not take that well,” Mya said, looking over at Stolas, who was now crawling through the broken doorway in his true demonic form. This made everyone stare up at him in terror, while Silas squealed ecstatically, happy to see his father.

“How could this happen? Do you just let anyone waltz in here and grab infinitely powerful artifacts?” Stolas asked, pacing back and forth worriedly, while burping Silas, hoping that the presence of one of his children could calm him down about the other being missing. “Why would she do this? How are we supposed to find her? Where would she go?”

“You need to start by calming down, we won’t be able to get anything done if you’re panicking,” Mya said, feeling just as anxious, but trying to keep calm. She felt guilty for not being able to stop Octavia from leaving and wouldn’t be able to forgive herself if something were to happen to her. “We just need to find out where to start looking first.” Loona began sniffing around and cringed a bit, waving the scent away from her nose.

“Well it reeks of urine and desperation, so,” she began, before sniffing again to get a better clue, making her cringe again. “L.A.”

“Great job, Loona. We’ve got a place to start. Stolas, we’ll need a portal there,” Mya said, putting her jacket on and packing a diaper bag. Stolas nodded and quickly made a portal that led into an alleyway in Los Angeles. Mya clipped on the baby harness and was about to take Silas, before Stolas held him a bit closer.

“Maybe I can hold him for now?” Stolas asked.

“Sure, just, don’t go too far off with him. I don’t want him catching anything out here,” Mya said, stepping through the portal with the diaper bag, unsure of how long they’d be out there, and not wanting to be unprepared. The rest of the group followed through, the portal closing behind them.
