~A few days later~

Mya sat in the I.M.P. office, cradling Silas, not wanting to be alone, but not wanting anyone at her apartment.

"Are you sure it's safe for the baby to be here?" Moxxie asked.

"I'm his mother, he's relaxing, he's fine," Mya said. "And Mr.Blitz and I disinfected before closing."

"Oh, okay then," Moxxie said.

"And besides, Moxxie, it's not like she's taking him up on Earth," Millie said.

"Exactly, we're fine. We help Loona with paperwork," Mya said.

"Aren't you supposed to be on maternity leave?" Moxxie asked.

"She didn't want to go on maternity leave, now leave her alone before you piss her off, Mox," Blitzo said. "But it is still on the table, Nello."

"I'm fine, I'm basically doing the shit I'd be doing at home here. Sitting on my ass and pumping every couple of hours," Mya said. "You worry more than Stolas does, and he somehow found out where I lived."

"Damn, no wonder you wanna get away," Blitzo said.

"Yeah, I appreciate him taking care of Silas when I'm tired, but him trying to take care of me is just...weird," Mya said, not being one for depending on other people. "Like he has a baby, but for some reason he wants to baby me."

"Ew, gross. Well if you need a place to hide out you're welcome to stay at my place," Blitzo offered.

"Thanks, Mr.Blitz," Mya said, before hearing Silas begin to fuss a bit. "You're hungry again?" she asked, checking the time. "It's been two hours already?" she whined, picking up a baby bottle full of freshly pumped breast milk. Silas latched on to the bottle nipple and ate calmly, looking happy. Mya cradled her son, looking down at him as he looked up at her. She internally cringed at the reminder of whose eyes he had inherited. She loved her child and she didn't regret having him, but she regretted who she had him with. Looking down at Silas was a reminder of how afraid she was of losing him if Stolas's wife ever found out about her or Silas. 'I really fucked up...' she thought, before beginning to sniffle a little.

"Um...Blade? Do you need some tissues?" Moxxie asked, sounding concerned.

"I need a fucking whiskey," Mya said, her voice cracking. "Postpartum is really kicking my ass right now, literally anything will set it off."

"Oh...okay," Moxxie said, unsure of what to do. "Well I can't get you any alcohol with you breastfeeding."

"You don't think I know that?" Mya asked, beginning to cry, holding Silas, who was starting to fuss, feeling gassy. "What's wrong with me?"

"Dammit, Mox, I told you to leave her alone. Goddammit!" Blitzo grumbled, walking over to Mya, before picking up Silas. "Go lay down, Nello."

"Okay," Mya sobbed out, getting up from her desk, before walking over to a cot she kept in her area of the office. She laid down on the cot and hid in the blanket to let this wave of postpartum pass. Blitzo shook his head, cradling Silas, trying to burp him.

"How the fuck do you burp this thing?" Blitzo muttered.

"Just...give him here," Moxxie said with a sigh. "And she made you the satanfather," he muttered, taking the fussy baby, before burping him carefully.  "Are you sure it's okay leaving him here with Loona?"

"Of course it is. Loony will do fine," Blitzo said, "Now give her the baby so we can go kill some fuckers for money."

"Okay..." Moxxie said, carrying Silas over to Loona, before hesitantly handing the now calm baby to her. Loona rolled her eyes and held the baby, before looking down at Silas.

"Alright, let's go, and don't forget the costumes," Blitzo said, collecting his bag of weapons, before looking over at Mya, who had cried herself to sleep. He shook his head again and walked through the portal, Millie and Moxxie following him. Silas looked up at Loona, sucking on his little fingers.

"Your eyes are fucking creepy," Loona muttered, before looking around the desk, and finding a pair of sunglasses. "Hm..."

~About an hour later~

Mya finally woke up from her nap and looked sat up. It took her a few minutes to realize it, but the office was quiet, too quiet. She climbed off of her cot and looked around, before seeing that no one else was in the office. She felt her stomach drop, realizing that Silas wasn't in the office either. She began frantically looking for him, looking in his bassinet, even in empty rooms, and under desks.

"Fuck!" she muttered, hurrying over to her side of the office to pick up her phone. She was getting ready to call Stolas, afraid that something may have happened to her baby. She began dialing Stolas's phone number in a complete panic, but before she could call it, she heard Loona coming in, carrying Silas's baby carrier and the diaper bag. Mya dropped her phone quickly and grabbed the baby carrier, before carefully taking Silas out and checking him over, dropping the sunglasses Loona had used to cover his eyes. "You're okay," she said, sounding relieved, before looking at Loona. "What the fuck were you thinking?!"

"What? We just went for a drive, he's fine," Loona said, not seeing a problem with taking Silas outside for a bit.

"You can't just take my fucking kid and not text me or leave a note. I thought he was fucking kidnapped!" Mya snapped, before sighing and apologizing. "I'm sorry...I shouldn't have yelled at you, I'm just being paranoid."

"It's fine, I should have left a note. I'll do that next time," Loona said, setting the diaper bag down on the table. "I just figured you needed a break for a bit."

"Thanks," Mya said, before sighing, holding Silas. "I was so panicked I almost called Stolas."

"Really? Fuck, you must have been freaking the fuck out," Loona said, beginning to feel bad for making Mya panic so much. "He seemed to enjoy the drive, I fed him and changed him, so he should be ready to eat in a couple of hours."

"Thank you, Loona," Mya said, cradling Silas. "I really do appreciate your help."

"It's no problem, just don't tell Blitz, he'll never let me live this down," Loona said.

"Oh I get that," Mya said. "You hungry?"

"Yeah, I could eat," Loona said.

"Let's go, I'll buy your lunch," Mya said, carefully setting Silas back down in his carrier, before strapping him in. They headed out of the building and got into Mya's car, before Mya got the baby carrier into the back seat, making sure he was secured. She then got into the driver's seat and checked the time. "Think they'll be alright?" she asked.

"They'll be fine," Loona said. "They'll probably be here by the time we get back."

"Alright," Mya said, starting up the car, before driving off, letting Loona pick the place they would eat at.
