"Dad calm down! You're scaring the baby!" Mya yelled over Silas's crying, trying to push her father away from Stolas.

"I understand that you're angry, just let me explain myself," Stolas said nervously.

"I don't wanna hear nothin' outta you," Mason said angrily, before looking at Mya. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I knew you would act like this," Mya said, trying to calm Silas down. "Hey, it's okay."

"How the hell did this even happen?" Mason asked calmly, anger still boiling up inside of him.

"We're still trying to figure that out," Mya said.

"Do you know what you have gotten yourself into? What if his wife finds out? She'll have your head," Mason said.

"I know, that's why I didn't say anything. If something happened to me I didn't want you having any knowledge of it if someone asked you," Mya said.

"So what do you plan on doing with...everything?" Mason asked.

"I just want to act like everything is normal...at least for the first few months," Mya said, cradling Silas. "Stolas and I will be co-parenting. Silas cannot be at your house alone, though, Stolas."

"I'm okay with that. Can I take him to the zoo?" Stolas asked.

"Maybe when he's older. We'll discuss it later," Mya said.

"This is crazy," Mason said.

"Yeah, do you wanna hold him?" Mya asked. "I mean, are you calm enough to hold him?"

"Yeah," Mason said. "Let me go wash my hands." He said, heading out of the room to find the bathroom.

"Well that went rather well," Mya said.

"I think so too," Stolas said. "So how should we do this? Do you want us to switch days or do you want to keep him and I visit?"

"He will live with me, but we can meet somewhere and you can have him for the day and bring him back," Mya said.

"Oh, okay. Will we be spending time with him together?" Stolas asked.

"I...don't know about that," Mya said, looking down at Silas. "We can't pretend to be something we're not. Especially around Silas...we can't lie to him."

"We can still be around each other platonically, others who co-parent do it all the time," Stolas said.

"What if your wife finds out? What if Octavia finds out? I don't want you to mess up your relationship with Octavia because of me. She doesn't deserve that," Mya said.

"I guess you're right," Stolas said. Mya nodded and looked over to the door, hearing her father coming back inside.

"Sorry, the only working bathroom was a floor up," Mason said, walking over.

"It's fine, dad," Mya said, giving a soft chuckle.

"Now, where's my grandson?" Mason said. Mya carefully handed Silas to Mason, who held him carefully looking down at his grandson. "Hey, kiddo." Silas yawned and stared at Mason, before smiling at him. Mason gave a small chuckle and gently cradled him. Silas yawned again and rubbed his face. "Has he eaten yet?"

"Not yet, he hasn't cried for food yet," Mya said. "I will feed him soon though. If I don't I'll end up falling asleep." Mason nodded and continued to hold Silas, talking to him. Silas stared at Mason and wiggled around a little, before beginning to fuss a bit.

"Op, that's the call," Mya said. Mason chuckled softly and handed Silas back carefully. Mya adjusted the top of her hospital gown and pulled out one of her breasts. "Hm...hold on," she said, carefully handing Silas back to Mason. "I think I'm supposed to massage it to stimulate the milk ducts? I wasn't really paying attention to what the nurse was saying," she explained, massaging her breast a little.

"That's fine, take your time," Mason said, cradling Silas, while eyeing Stolas, who was quietly observing Mya. "You're starin' a little too hard." He said, making Stolas look nervous and look away quickly.

"Dad, it's fine," Mya said. "I don't mind it, people are going to stare." Mason was reluctant, but nodded, deciding to let it go. Silas continued to fuss, beginning to wiggle a little from how cranky he was from hunger. "And...there. Okay, hand him here." Mason carefully handed Silas back to Mya, trying not to drop him, as he wiggled about. Mya held Silas, trying to calm him, as she let him latch on to her breast, remembering a few tips that the nurse had given her for breastfeeding. Silas calmed down and began suckling on Mya's nipple.

"So, do you have everything set up for him at home?" Mason asked.

"Yeah, I just wasn't able to bring it here. I got stuck on the toilet at work," Mya said.

"Your coworkers know where you live?" Mason asked.

"No," Mya said. "My keys are in my jacket pocket."

"Alright, just give me the address and I'll go get the bag and some clean clothes for you," Mason said.

"I'll type it into your maps on your phone," Mya said.

"Right, I forgot that my phone can do that," Mason said, handing Mya his phone, before walking over to her clothes and taking her keys from her jacket pocket. "I do think you should tell at least one of them your address. Just in case something comes up."

"I will," Mya said, putting her apartment address into her father's phone, before setting it down. She then carefully sat Silas up a little and gently held his face in between her thumb and index finger. She began lightly patting his back, looking over at her father.

"Which key is it?" Mason asked. Mya pointed at one of the keys.

"That one, you can just take it off of the keychain if you want to," Mya said, continuing to burp Silas. Silas began dozing off a bit, but let out a few small burps. "There it is." She fixed the top of her hospital gown, before resting Silas against her chest.

"I'll be right back," Mason said, grabbing his phone.

"Okay, thanks, dad," Mya said, rubbing Silas's back.

"Don't do anything I wouldn't," Mason warned, eyeing Stolas, before heading out of the room.

"Got it," Mya said. Silas cooed softly as he dozed off, falling asleep.

"You're doing great," Stolas said.

"Yeah, it's weird. I was never one for motherhood, at least I thought I wasn't," Mya said. "Now that he's actually here, everything seems surreal. We have a tiny being that we have to protect."

"Yeah, it is hard to believe at first. When I held Octavia for the first time, I was terrified. What do you do with such a tiny little thing? It's scary at first, but you learn with him as you go. You two will be close, you are his mother after all," Stolas said. Mya nodded and looked at Silas as he slept quietly.

"Yeah," Mya said quietly, before smiling softly at him.
