Y/N & STEVEN & MARC'S POV

⚠️ WARNING: Cussing , Panic Attacks

Song: Genesis by Grimes

We had been walking around for hours, showing me around everything there is in London. He took me to see Big Ben, a few art museums, the eye of London, London Bridge, the castle where the King lived. The last thing he wants to show me now is the museum of science, which we were heading to right now. "You're going to love it! I actually used to work there, it has a lot of cool things in there." I nodded my head slightly as I heard him speak. He had been talking about everything we seen, giving me the history of it all. At times I was annoyed with it, but slowly I've just grown used to it. He wasn't to bad of a person, as much as I hate to admit it I've actually gotten quite fond of him. He was adventurous, a heart filled with curiosity. He wanted to know everything the world has to offer. And from the few books that I had seen in his room, he was big on Egyptian culture, especially learning about the gods. He would ask me questions here and there, asking how the underworld is, how the temple looks, nothing really personal. I can somewhat see my younger self in him, I was filled with curiosity growing up in the pyramids, seeing all these gods who towered over me, the powers they each had, I wanted to know every single detail about it all. I stopped at the steps to look up at the entrance of the museum. "Welcome to natural science museum." Steven spoke and did some jazz hands towards the entrance to give it some more flare. I looked back to the posters on the side to see that is was the gods of Ennead counted each of them and saw that there was only seven not nine. Osiris, Horus, Tefnut, Shu, Hathor, Geb and Isis. Though I feel as though Horus shouldn't be apart of it, he was just chosen in just because Osiris was his father. The original Enneads were the deities of the Egypt. I remember I would walk in and saw how everyone played their roll, how easily they could have handled any situation. Though few of them decided that it would be best if they were to have their own avatars so they could be able to protect the world. Atum, Nut, Geb, and Shu were the main ones who decided it would be best to only appear in the council if they were truly needed, they knew Osiris could handle the group on his own if he wanted to. "Why is there seven and not nine?" I questioned, still staring at the posters. "THATS EXACTLY WHAT I SAID!" He shouted out a bit. "And why did they put Horus on there? He wasn't even there when it originally started. Some museum this is." I rolled my eyes as I began to ascend the stairs with Steven by my side. As me and Steven walked in, I saw a guy at the desk looking at his phone and never once looked up. Everything was white, the flooring was marble tiles, there were some elegant pillars to the side of the building. I saw a miniature version of the great pyramid of Giza on a small table just up ahead, with a sarcophagus in glass against the wall. "This is the main part of the museum obviously, and up there is-" "Stevie?? Is that you?" I heard a woman's voice calling out to him. "Oh bloody hell." Steven spoke under his breath. "Hello Donna." "It's been a while now innit. Still trying to be a tour guide? And who's this?" I watched as she looked me up and down. Just from the way she was I didn't get a good sense out of her, she was obnoxious and annoying to the point that I wish that Anubis would make me suffer back down in the underworld just to get away from her. "I'm a close friend, who are you?" "My name is Donna and I'm the manager here." My eyes slightly light up. "Is that so?" "Yes very much." "Can I point out a little flaw in your museum? If you don't mind me asking, I'm only a person who has a masters in Egyptology." I saw as her eyes sparkled as she realized the degree I had. Though it wasn't quite a lie, more so a fib of anything. I knew all I needed to from the originators themselves, why bother trying to learn something that is going to twist the words of truth if they weren't even there. "The posters and the banners, they show seven gods." "Yes?" "There's nine. And if you really want to put the original Enneads on the posters, Horus wasn't even apart of it till hundreds of thousands of years later. So if you really don't want to make this museum look more foolish than it already was, I would go straight to whoever uncultured idiot made such stupid designs and get that fixed immediately." I didn't bother to look back at her all stunned in place, I took it upon myself to leave to the next part of the museum. I even made sure Steven followed as I grabbed his forearms to indicate that he needed to get away from her. "Thank you." Steven said in a soft whisper as soon as we got further away from her. "For what?" I slightly raised a brow as I looked at him. "For making sure people are actually going to learn in this museum. This place was like a dream to me, and still is. I've always adored everything about Egyptian culture, and for this place be considered a museum and not even have the right amount of deities...just seems shameful." "I didn't do it because of that, I did it because she seemed so much like a stuck up, god I couldn't stand her." "Yea, me neither mate." He slightly laughed after he spoke. It felt...nice...for once, to talk to someone who wasn't a million year old god with some weird features that made them look like a bird or dog, just...a person. Though Osiris was kinda like one but he never really counted to me. Steven has been the only person I've ever interacted with since...well, I don't even remember when. Probably when I was back in Mexico, living life the way life was back then.
