3rd PERSON POV
Mikha sighed, remembering how devastated she had felt when she realized she couldn't present evidence to Aiah.
"I'm sorry, love. I can't show the evidence that the pictures are edited. The police are also having a hard time finding out who's behind it. They suspect it's a big person because the account that posted those pictures can't be traced."
"I'm scared of what that person might do next to you, love." Aiah's heart suddenly beat faster, thinking about the possible and terrible things that might happen again.
Mikha held her hand, kissing it again and again. That gesture made Aiah calm down.
"I don't care whatever pictures that will be posted again. All I need is for you to trust me. I don't care if people will turn their back on me. You're the only one I want to stay, the person who trusts me the most and the only person who'll never give up on me." Mikha begged.
Aiah caressed Mikha's face as a sign that yes, she would be the one who would trust Mikha the most.
"Yes, love. I will no longer doubt you. I promise." Aiah sealed her promise with a kiss.
"You should, or I will punish you." Mikha smirked as her eyes darkened, licking her lower lip.
"I'm still waiting for my interrupted punishment." Aiah raised both of her eyebrows twice, teasing Mikha.
With a feeling of relief and clarification, no doubts, no pain, no negative feelings, Aiah and Mikha proceeded into a deeper kiss. An agreement of trust, a strong bond, and love.
As the couple indulged in their unwavering passionate kiss, the doorbell suddenly rang, signaling that Maloi and the girls had arrived.
The two separated from their kiss with a contented smile, happy that finally, they had resolved their problem.
"Oh, by the way, the girls didn't know this, but someone approached me to help, and I think she's smart. She's a Filipino but working in Las Vegas. She told me that she can trace the person behind it."
"MEKAYAAAA!!!!" Stacey shouted the moment she saw Aiah and Mikha going out from the bedroom. She hugged Aiah so tight, and Aiah hugged her as much as Stacey did. Having a silent understanding that the both of them were okay. Mikha saw Sheena clinging to Jhoanna. She glared at her the moment their eyes met each other. Mikha wanted Sheena to know that she was so annoyed with her.
"I'm sorry, Stacey. I promise to forever trust you, my bestie." Aiah said, making Stacey tear up again.
"Ano ba yan Staku, iiyak na naman." (What's that Staku, crying again.) Jhoanna commented in a bashful way, but deep inside, she just didn't want to see Stacey crying again because it somehow hurt her. She realized she couldn't handle seeing Stacey cry.
"Shut up, Jhoanna. You're just jealous I never cried because of you.... Don't worry I will cry on you too with matching flowers and RIP messages." Stacey rolled her eyes. Jhoanna's eyes widened as she knocked on the floor.
"Knock on the floor you idiot, it might come true." Jhoanna commanded. And Stacey realized what she said so she quickly knocked on the floor.
"By the way, I know you already know them, but Aiah, for formality, let me introduce them to you. This is Jhoanna, my girlfriend." Stacey held Jhoanna's arm and winked at her.
Jhoanna tried to keep a smile but she failed. She was now smiling like a fool.
On the other side, Colet felt so betrayed because Jhoanna didn't even try to correct Stacey. Wow. Just wow...
"I told you, bro." Mikha appeared beside her chuckling, enjoying the sight of Jhoanna getting flustered by being called Stacey's girlfriend.
"Hoy, bantay karon." Colet stepped between Jhoanna and Stacey. She slapped Stacey's head, who was laughing hard now.
Colet hugged Jhoanna. "That's why your best friend has many issues. Jhoanna is MY girlfriend btw." Colet said as she pulled Jhoanna from Stacey.
"Ugh, fine. Jhoanna is not my girlfriend but Sheena. Sheena's my girlfriend." Stacey pulled Sheena.
And Sheena's face cringed so much in disgust as she looked at Aiah, shaking her head, a sign that Stacey was spitting lies.
Aiah couldn't help but feel happy that Mikha's rival was now friends with her best friend.
"Stacey is crazy." Sheena stated as she pushed Stacey away and went to hug Aiah, who hugged back.
"Crazy for you, yiiehhhh" Stacey once again said, pulling Sheena from Aiah.
"I'm not an asylum, go away." Sheena fired back.
"Ohhhh burn." Mikha and Colet commented, teasing Staku.
But Sheena raised an eyebrow to Mikha, wanting to tease her that she was just jealous because Stacey was now closer to them with Jhoanna than Mikha, who had always accompanied Stacey these past few months but Stacey was still closer to them now.
But as she looked at Mikha, she was slapped with Mikha's glare, so she decided to just shut her mouth up.
Sheena also noticed a little kiss mark on Aiah's collarbone, so she finally understood that, damn, she deserved to be trashtalked by Mikha.
