Aiah dismissed Mikha, who felt stupid for not reading the entire paper and just signing it to make Aiah stop talking.

However, she didn't know that Aiah was only distracting her.

She sighed deeply as she laid her head on the steering wheel of her car, closed her eyes, and blamed herself.

Her hands were shaking as she tried to think of a way to get out of the situation.

Interacting with Aiah scared her for real; she was scared because of how Aiah had looked at her earlier.

Her heart raced so fast when she saw Aiah's eyes, screaming something she had felt before they parted ways.

Those looks Aiah gave every time she wanted to cuddle with her, those looks when she wanted Mikha to do something or buy something she wanted, those looks every time they just stared at each other, those looks every time she moaned Mikha's name under her breath.

Those eyes that she dreamt of seeing on the aisle.

"I will never leave my family," the back of her head screamed, remembering how Sheena and Gehlee had made her world so bright and colorful.

How Sheena had given her a reason to live again after her breath, Aiah, had left her for good.

How Sheena had lifted her up despite all the insensitivities and hatred she had shown.

Sheena was there, her wife was there. Sheena is her life now, and if she ever loses them, it's better for her to kill herself.

Aiah will not be enough reason to make her leave her family. That's what she's currently promising herself.

Suddenly, someone was banging on the window of her car.

She looked up and saw an elegant woman, arrogance visible on her face. She seemed to be drunk.

Mikha was confused about what Maloi was doing in her car.

Why couldn't this couple leave her in peace?

She just wanted to work hard for her family, but these two highly influential people were making it so hard.

She opened the door and got out of the car to talk to Maloi, and she was surprised when Maloi suddenly grabbed the collar of Mikha's shirt and banged her on her car.

"Stay away from my fiancé," Maloi's jaw tightened. Her breath reeked of alcohol.

Lost for words, Mikha just stared at Maloi, not believing her behavior.

How could someone with a high profile just attack her without knowing what really happened, and worse, she was drunk.

"I would love to, Maloi," Mikha scoffed as she pushed Maloi's hand away, but Maloi pushed Mikha on the car even harder.

"Then what are you guys doing together in that room? Fucking each other?" Maloi forced Mikha to speak by shaking her.

Mikha finally got it; Maloi was insecure about her. Aiah cheated on Mikha, and she was afraid that Aiah would cheat again. It's funny.

"You're drunk, Maloi. Talk to me when you're sober," Mikha tried her best to talk calmly, but deep inside, she was saddened.

She thought that if she let Aiah go, Maloi would treat her better.

Mikha once again removed Maloi's grip on her collar and wanted to go inside her car, not wanting to engage with the problem of the couple.

But Maloi pulled her hair and swung it, causing Mikha to lose her balance and fall to the ground.
