Aiah's POV

My heart felt so light watching that kid fan girling over me, even though her guardian was acting a bit weird.

Then, she removed her mask, and I was completely dumbfounded.

The little girl looked so much like me when I was a kid, a mix of familiar features that left me confused.

I couldn't understand it, but I felt something towards her, something I couldn't quite place.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't even notice someone approaching.

"Excuse me, ma'am. Mr. Maki told me that you want to talk to me."  That deep voice, the one I've learned to hate but still miss so badly.

The voice that lingers in my dreams, causing nightmares and yet offering a strange comfort.

"Gehlee?" Mikha asked, confused, before her expression turned serious.

Gehlee?

Layag Mekaya Jelliessss, that used to be our shippers' name.

I was confused by the surprised reactions of the two fans.

The guardian jumped up, and Gehlee hid behind her.

"Tita Staku, I think you're dead." The scared little girl whispered, clutching Staku's pants.

My eyes widened as I heard the name "Staku," and a wave of hatred washed over me.

"You mean, we are dead." Staku replied in her deep voice.

Gehlee was trembling, so Staku carried her.

What was happening?

Mikha just stared at the two of them, especially at the kid who was obviously shaking in fear from Mikha's look.

Gehlee's lips quivered, and she let out a cry.

"Mama, I'm sorry." The poor girl was now sobbing, comforted by Staku.

My eyebrows furrowed at the term Gehlee used.

Was Mikha her mom?

Did Mikha have a daughter?

Mikha looked at me apologetically and went to take Gehlee from Staku.

She soothed Gehlee with kisses.

"Don't cry, baby. Mama's not mad, shhhhh." Mikha seems like she was nervous seeing her daughter crying.

She used to do that when I'm the one crying, so Gehlee's really her daughter.

I don't know why but I feel like a proud wife on how Mikha treats her daughter.

But then the hatred towards them still lingered in my chest, how dare they.

"Ma'am Aiah, my daughter is a big fan of yours ever since."

I almost jumped in surprise when Mikha turned to me, her eyes speaking that I should act like there's no problem between us.

She wants me to act like a stranger?

I felt a little ache in my heart.

Maybe because she has the audacity to demand that I act this way after what she did.

" Did you already take a picture with her, baby?" She sweetly asked,

I want to walk out but I saw how happy Gehlee is, I don't want to ruin her moment to be with her idol, which is me.

The little one doesn't play a part to whatever Mikha did to me.

"Hmm, no. We haven't yet." I replied and smiled sweetly to the kid.
