"Mom I told you not to bother her," ano Xander "the food is ready let's go eat" sabi ni Xander "oh I'm not going to eat I'm still full," miss Anthea said "besides I'm not sure if that food you cooked is edible." She said and got up from her seat.

Before going upstairs she turned to me "Hija, please call me 'tita' from now on" she smiled at naglakad na para bumalik sa kwarto n'ya.

"Mom, the food that I cooked is edible, come here and eat" Xander said to his mom "uh... Samahan n'yo po kami tita, masarap po magluto si Xander" I said with a smile while looking at tita.

"Has he cook something for you before?," She asked, and I nodded. She turned to Xander "so you've cooked food for Hazel before, you haven't cook any food for me. Does this mean she's more important to you than your own mother?" She said and raised at eyebrow to Xander.

"No, mom... I uh- just-" Xander sighed "I'll cook for you next time I promise" Xander said and went to his mom to take her to the table.

"You better keep that promise," she said and sat down "anyways, Hija let's eat. I'm curious kung totoo ba yung sinabi mo about Xander's cooking" she said and started putting food her plate.

Xander sat down next to me, and he was helping me put food on my plate "I can do it, thank you" I said. I heard tita giggle while looking at us "mom, stop staring at us" Xander said to tita.

"I didn't you had this side son" she said and laughed "mom stop, you're embarrassing me" Xander said and motioned for tita to stop.

Tita stopped laughing "oh yeah? But you weren't embarrassed when you talked about her to your father non stop?" She said while looking at Xander.

I turned to him "so..." Before I can say anything he cut me off "it's not like that" Xander said, looking away in embarrassment "trust me hija, it is like that" tita said and giggled.

I looked at Xander and almost burst out laughing, he turned into a freaking tomato because of embarrassment. It's kinda cute.

We finished eating and tita ordered Xander to wash the dishes, and showed me Xander's baby pictures. I didn't know he's more adorable when he was a baby.

"Oh look! This is his picture when he was just five, this is taken in Japan" she said, and took the picture out of the photo album "here hija, you can keep it" she handed me the picture and winked.

"Mom" Xander went to us while we we're laughing at Xander's baby pictures "yes?" Tita answered him "me and Hazel have somewhere to go to" Xander said, and I stood up to get my things "oh... Is that so, okay then. Hija please come again next time I'll show more pictures of Xander, okay?"
she said.

"Okay po, bye po" I said to tita and she hugged me and I hugged her back "goodbye hija, come again!" She said and waved before we left.

Nasa loob na kami ng kotse "tita is nice" I told him "yes, but she didn't have to embarrass me like that" he said and I just laughed.

"Ano ka ba be glad tita is supportive of your kalandian," I said while still laughing a little "but uh... How many girls have you introduced to your family?" I asked him.

He turned to me and looked into my eyes "just you" he answered "sigurado ka?" I asked again "yes Hazel, you're the first girl I've introduced to my family. You haven't met them but they already know you." He said again while looking at me.

I looked away from him "anyways sa'n tayo pupunta?" I asked to change the topic "somewhere were there's a beautiful scenery" he said and drove off. Walang nag sasalita sa'min buong biyahe, it's super awkward.

"We're here," he said and stopped the car, he got out first to open the car door for me "let's go" he said and lend me a hand.

"So what are we doing here?" I asked him, nasa beach kami. "To watch the sunset" he answered "you like sunsets?" I asked "yep, and I also know you like them. I saw your post on instagram" he said.

"Stalker ka 'no" I said and playfully hit his shoulder "no I'm not, it's not stalking. It's called information gathering" he said and laughed.

Tumawa na lang din ako sa joke n'ya, "grabe naman yang excuse mo, you could just admit that you're stalking my instagram account." I said to him.

"No, I will never admit that. At least not you're face." He said, I side eyed him. "Boys and their high egos" I said and shook my head.

"Look" he said and pointed to the sky, I looked in the direction he was pointing. "Woah," I said while being amused by the view "it's pretty" I said, I took out my phone to take a picture of the sunset.

Everytime I see a sunset or sunrise, it always feels like as if I'm seeing it for the first time. It's just to beautiful.
While taking pictures of the sunset, I decided to take a video featuring the sunset and both me and Xander.

"Hazel," Xander said and looked at me "yeah?" I answered looking at the pictures I took "I'd like to confess something to you" he said, and I looked to him.

"Ano yun?" Tanong ko "Hazel, remember when we bumped into each other at the library? Actually I've known you way before that." He said still maintaining eye contact.

"Really?" I said in amusement, "Yes, remember our sslg officer elections?" He said, I just nodded, "that's where I first met you, you didn't notice me back then but I did notice you," he said. I noticed he was fidgeting with his fingers.

He let out a long sigh "Hazel, from the moment I noticed you that day... I don't know I just seem to notice you everywhere, and I- I've been in love with you from then." He said to me with sincere eyes.

He let out another long sigh "I was super nervous when we bumped into each other at the library, and when Lyra first introduced us," He said, and took my hand "Hazel, I like you, I really do and I'd be very happy if you would allow me to court you." He confessed.

I was at a loss for words I didn't know what to say, should I say yes? Or no? I don't know! "Uhm... Xander I have strict parents and they wouldn't allow me to date while studying, though I appreciate your courage for confessing your feelings." I said to him.

"Do you feel the same way?" He asked me "I'm not sure, Xander" I said and let go of his hand. "Perhaps it's better if we remain friends?" I said and stood up.

"Friends. Of course, it's okay I understand," he said and stood up "let me take you home" he said and walked to his car and opened the car door.

I just went inside his car and didn't utter a word, the whole ride was silent. None of us utter a word.
When we reach my house we still didn't say a word to each other.
