"So are you free after school?" He asked me "wait let me see my schedule," sabi ko sabay tinignan ang schedule ko sa phone ko "oh, yes I'm free after school wala naman masyadong gagawin mamaya" I said.

He nodded “I see, I'll pick you up at 1:00 pm is that cool?“ Sabi n'ya “sure, sa’n ba punta natin?“ Tanong ko “you'll see,“ sabi n’ya at tsaka tumingin sa phone n’ya "oh, it's almost time na. Let's go" sabi n’ya at nag lakad na kami pabalik sa room.

Hinatid n’ya ako sa room namin, we both waved goodbye to each other.
“oy!“ sigaw ni Lyra sa’kin “kamusta date n’yo?" Tanong n’ya sa’kin “hindi yun date, ang issue n’yo talaga“

"Sus! Puro ka aral sis, lumandi ka rin pag may time" sabi ni Lyra "oo nga, para naman mag ka love life ka" ani Chelsea.

"Wala pa yan sa isip ko right now" sagot ko sa kanila, kaya lahat sila binigyan ako ng 'side eye' look. I just rolled my eyes at their reaction. I opened my phone to find a message from Xander.

Xander:
I'll pick you up at 1:00 pm, don't forget lol.

Hazel:
Yes sir, hahaha

Xander:
I prefer to be called 'love' :>

Hazel:
Asa! Lol

Xander:

Hazel:
Aw, why so sad?

Xander:

"Sino yan?" Tanong ni Jane, I didn't realize na nakatingin pala s'ya sa'kin "no one" I said and put my phone away. "Weh," ani Jane and gave me that 'side eye' look "guys! Mag ka chat si Xander at Hazel kanina!" Sabi ni Jane kila Lyra.

"Hey! I'm not chatting anyone," I said and looked away "malapit na dumating si ma'am, balik na kayo sa upuan n'yo" I said to them.

I wasn't planning on telling them about Xander flirting with me, because maybe I'm not just the only girl he's flirting with, after all he's a guy. And all guys are the same.

We're waiting for our next subject when our adviser came inside our room "everyone listen up, cleaners please clean up our room today we will be dismissed early, kasi may meeting kami" Sabi ni sir sa'min.

Yes! Early dismissal hihi.

"Hazel, ikaw na bahala sa mga classmates mo, make sure malinis yung room bago kayo umalis" ani sir sa'kin, tumango na lang ako as my answer.

The cleaners are done cleaning the room na, sila Lyra nasa labas pa ng pinto hinihintay ako, I can't leave the cleaners kasi baka tumakas sila.

"Alis na kami pres" sabi ng classmate ko "sige lang," I said and picked up my things "tara na, may lakad pa 'ko" sabi ko kila Lyra. "Lakad o landi? Alin sa dalawa?" Tanong ni Zoey, "secret" I said and walked a little faster.

"Hitayin mo kami!" Ani nila Jane at Zoey, so I slowed down a little, I checked my phone and may message sa 'kin si Xander.

Xander:
Nasa gate ako, hinihintay ka :>

Hazel:
Be right there! :)

"Hey guys," I turned around to Jane and Zoey "mauna na 'ko, may lakad kasi ako, kayo na lang sabay umuwi" I said to them and ran so I can reach the gate quickly.

I won't let them know na yung 'lakad' ko is actually just lunch with Xander.

"Hey there" Xander greeted me and took my bag "thank you" sabi ko sa kanya nang kunin n'ya yung bag ko "let's go" ani Xander at pumunta sa kotse n'ya, sumunod na naman ako agad.

"Sa'n tayo pupunta?" Tanong ko nang makapasok na kami sa kotse n'ya "we're having lunch first" ani n'ya and started the car engine.

The whole ride was silent, hindi s'ya nag sasalita pati na rin ako. This is awkward.

"Uhm... Malapit na ba tayo?" Tanong ko to ease the silent "almost there" sagot n'ya, tumango na lang ako. Ang awkward shet.

"So..." Sabay naming sabi ni Xander "you go first" ani Xander "no it's okay, ano ba yung sasabihin mo?" Tanong ko "have you... Had a boyfriend before?" He asked, okay that's not the question I was expecting.

"Hindi pa, wala pa kasi yan sa isip ko" sagot ko, he just nodded and stopped the car "we're here" he said and got out of the car.

He opened the car door for me "let's go" he said and motioned for me to take his hand, I took his hand and got out of the car.

Tumingin ako sa paligid namin this place is not a restaurant, it's not a house either, it's a freaking mansion!

"Uh... Ba't tayo nasa tapat ng mansion?" Tanong ko sa kanya "we're in my house" sagot n'ya at nag lakad pamunta sa gate. What the fuck! His house?!

Bigla akong kinabahan, if ever man maging kami... Baka mag offer sa'kin ng sampung milyon yung nanay n'ya para layuan ko s'ya. Pero syempre I'll accept it sayang yun.

I snap out of it, stop thinking that Hazel! Hindi pa nga kayo eh, and who knows baka marami na s'yang babaeng nadala dito.

"Come in," he said "feel at home, upo ka muna sa living room I'll cook our lunch" he said and went to the kitchen.

It hasn't been five minutes since he went to the kitchen ng may bumaba sa hagdan na babae, she doesn't look old, she looks sophisticated. When she saw me her eyes beamed with excitement.

"Oh my, are you Hazel?" She asked me "Opo" I answered and then I saw Xander walking out of the kitchen "son, you didn't tell me you we're bringing your girlfriend today. I didn't have time to prepare."

Son? Wait! This lady... Is Xander's mother?! And bakit n'ya akong tinawag na girlfriend ni Xander?
"Hindi po ako girlfriend ni Xander" I said "not yet," ani Xander and went back to the kitchen "mom, don't bother her" sabi n'ya habang naglalakad pamuntang kisina.

His mom didn't listen though, and sat down next to me.

"Hello hija, my name is Anthea Rose Reyes, I'm Xander's mom. And apologies if I called you his girlfriend. It's just that he has told as alot about you so we thought you're his girlfriend" she smiled warmly.

"Okay lang po, my name is-" I said introducing myself but before I could finish, miss Anthea stopped me "Hazel, we know who you are sweetheart." She said and smiled at me.

"Uhm... Pano n'yo po ako kilala, pero kayo po hindi ko kilala until now" I asked, she chuckled at my question "hija, Xander told us alot about you so we already know who you are we're just waiting for him to introduce you to us, my son seems to like you alot because he couldn't stop talking about you" she said and giggled about what she said.
