"Ok, my wonderful fiancée and the mother of my child, what do you want to do on this lovely day off?" Tim asked Lucy as they finally made it outside.

"Hmm, honestly, I have no idea," she laughed, looking happily at Tim. "I didn't expect any of this. Everything has happened so fast this week; I'm still a bit overwhelmed."

"That's okay. I didn't think I'd find out I'm going to be a dad and then ask the mother to marry me all within a few days either, but you're the most wonderful woman in the world," he smiled.

They got into his car, and Tim started driving. "How about this: I'll grab us some breakfast, and then we'll just have a relaxing day and see what we feel like doing spontaneously?" he suggested.

"Sounds good to me, as long as I'm with you," she said.

The bistro where Tim was getting their breakfast wasn't far, and he parked the car a few meters from the entrance.

"I'll wait here; I can't stand all the food smells right now," Lucy said, and Tim nodded before getting out and heading inside. Lucy looked around, lost in thoughts about everything that had happened. It was incredible: she was engaged and expecting a child. She realized she needed to tell her parents the news and introduce them to Tim, something she hadn't even thought about yet.

While she was lost in thought, she didn't notice three men approaching the car until they suddenly opened the door and pulled her out. One of the men grabbed her, and she recognized him—one of the drug lord's henchmen. But shouldn't they all be in jail by now? How did they find her?

"Come with us, one sound and I'll shoot you," the man holding her hissed.

She went with them without resisting. The risk to her child was too great. She just hoped Tim would come out in time to see and save her.

When Tim left the bistro a few minutes later, he walked toward his car with a happy smile until he saw the passenger door was open. He was confused and approached the door; Lucy was gone. He immediately called Grey to report it. Grey tried to calm him down, but Tim knew Lucy wouldn't just leave the car and disappear. Something must have happened.

He waited a few minutes, then heard the sirens. Grey had sent colleagues to search for Lucy. Nolan and Harper were the first to arrive and began looking around.

"And you're sure she didn't get out on her own?" Harper asked cautiously, and Tim glared at her.

"I'm sure. Her phone is still here, and the door was open. She wouldn't leave her phone behind. What if she had fallen? She wouldn't just leave it," he replied, worried.

"Okay, so who could have wanted to kidnap her?" Harper continued.

"No one; she's perfect. Unless... the gang we were undercover with. Didn't Angela say the evidence wasn't enough to get all the members? I bet it was them," Tim got angry and was about to jump back into the car.

"Wait! Tim, maybe there are still clues on your car. Go with Nolan; I'll stay here," she suggested, and Tim nodded at Nolan, who was already heading to the car.

"I...," Nolan began, but Tim shook his head.

"Forget it. We're going to that gang, and I'll beat the truth out of them until someone talks and tells us where Lucy is," Tim said coldly, and Nolan realized it wasn't a joke. Tim was angry and worried, and he would do anything for Lucy.

"Just remember, try not to lose your job in the process," Nolan warned, earning a dark look from Tim.

"Listen to me. What happens there is justified. Is that clear? You'll see what you need to see to save Lucy," Tim stated, and Nolan wondered if he could deliberately write a false report to protect Tim, who was clearly only worried about saving Lucy's life.

"I'm just saying, try not to go too far," Nolan tried again.

Tim abruptly stopped the car and turned to Nolan with a cold look.

"Listen closely. My fiancée and the mother of my child has been kidnapped by the gang we were trying to put in jail. What do you think they'll do to her? They're not hosting a tea party. They'll kill her or use her as leverage to get rid of both of us. So spare me the moral lectures. I don't have time for that. Either you're in, or you get out here. I have to save my fiancée," Tim snapped.

"I'm in," Nolan replied shortly, and Tim sped up the car again.

It didn't take long to reach a garage associated with the gang. Tim got out and took another gun from the trunk. You never knew what to expect in a lion's den.

A man came out of the gate toward them, a wide grin on his face, clearly expecting Tim.

"Hello," the man began, but Tim grabbed him before he could continue and slammed him against the wall.

"Where is she?" Tim demanded.

"I don't know who you mean; no one's been here," the guy grinned. Tim pulled out handcuffs and attached one to his hand and the other to a bike rack on the parking lot.

Then he headed into the garage, with Nolan close behind, ready to shoot if necessary.

The garage seemed almost empty. Tim walked through the hall into a separated area in the back, where more halls were located, usually for storing and shipping drugs.

He heard faint voices and signaled Nolan to follow him to a back area separated by another door. Nolan nodded and followed.

Tim approached the door and signaled Nolan to open it carefully while he held his weapon ready to shoot at whatever awaited them behind it.

When Nolan opened the door, they were met by a group of armed men. One of them turned around and grinned, revealing Lucy, tied up and apparently unconscious on a chair in the middle of the group.

"Hello, I was hoping you'd find me," Crash, or whatever his real name was, greeted them.
