Subject #9, codenamed Deku, was just a tool for the facility to use. A genetic hybrid, the perfect super soldier. Unfortunately for them, he had morals, sacrificing his life to free his brethren from the eternal torture of the lab. Now, he finds him...
"We could fly them up one-by-one," Toshinori suggested.
"We could march through the mountains, but that's a lot of strain on these people," Kaina quietly added.
They were of course concerned about getting the freed people up to Draxia itself, as it wasn't an easy journey for non-Onyx to make.
"What about using Spatial Magic with the Divine Grimoire?" Rumi asked.
Izuku pursed his lips. "I dunno. I could probably do it, but it would be my first time using Spatial Magic, and it's not quite as simple as freezing a body," He said, referring to the Ice Elemental. "It's a good idea, but I'll need to do some testing before we can actually move everyone through it."
"Alright," Toshinori accepted. "Our plan will be to take people up one-by-one if the Spatial Magic doesn't pan out."
Everyone went their separate ways, Izuku to practice with Spatial Magic, and the others to prepare the people for the journey.
He was forced to dismiss every Elemental aside from the Ice Elemental because he needed four types of Magic to make Spatial Magic. Light, Dark, Air, and Earth.
This was the reason why no one had Pure Casting of Spatial Magic outside of the Divine Lord. You needed way too many Elements to make it work and almost no one was genetically predisposed to that many. Most Spatial Magic was just a simple set of spells for opening portals between two places, that was it. They couldn't attack with it, and they could barely defend with it.
But the Spatial Elemental in front of Izuku didn't have those limitations. Freed of many constraints, the serpent - which looked to be made of galaxies and star stuff - swirled around Izuku, ready to abide by his commands.

Spatial Magic worked by, obviously, manipulating the fabric of space. But it wasn't some God tool. You had to know where you wanted a portal to open. You had to have been there yourself, and you needed great amounts of spatial awareness.
There were many stories of Spatial Mages cutting themselves in half because of their inadequate skills.
And finally, there was the insane Lumina cost. Even for Izuku, Spatial Magic had massive resource requirements. You weren't just casting a fireball, you were tearing open space.
In a lot of ways, Spatial Magic was sort of overrated. It was useful in very specific situations, but wasn't very reliable for combat unless it got a one-shot kill with something like a Spatial Slash. The requirements meant that, for those who had it, they were used more as transports than anything else. Thankfully, that was the only thing Izuku was concerned with right now, being a transport. He could work out the finer details later and likely make it into a powerful weapon.
He started small, using the Spatial Elemental to create a wormhole the size of a baseball. The opposite end of the portal was just a few feet away. Throwing a pebble at one end... it bounced off.
