Sorry about the pacing with this chapter, I just felt that we'd kinda slowed down for a good bit of time and I don't think any more traveling between towns or nations would benefit the story, so I am going to pick up the pace just to avoid doing the same process all over again.

"He's doing much better," The doctor said, removing his hand from Izuku's head. He was using Sonic Magic to map Izuku's body and brain. "I'd give him another day or two before he can start using Magic again, but physically he's almost completely healed."

"Thank the Dragons..." Inko said, still holding Izuku's hand. She practically hadn't let go over the past couple of days.

"My Lord," The doctor always seemed awkward when talking directly towards Izuku, not only because he was the NULL Lord, but because he was staring blankly out the window, as he had done ever since he managed to stop crying. "I'm not trying to be harsh, but I would recommend you never do something like that ever again. It's far too likely to cause permanent brain damage or outright death."

"I understand..."

"These next questions... might be difficult. Would you like your mother to leave the room?"

"She's fine..."

"Well, my Lord, I'm worried about your mental state. It's not my field but I urge you to see a mental health counselor of some kind. The Shifters are the best at it, they have far more information about the mind. And the Ebony have some of the best mental health facilities. Our... proclivities award us greater care for the mental state than other species, all free of course... though I assume cost wasn't a concern for you to begin with."

Izuku said nothing, so Inko looked up at the man. "I'll make sure to talk to him about it."

The doctor took the hint and nodded respectfully to the two. When he opened the door there was a young man and his wife.

"Minoru..." Izuku mumbled, taking note of his presence but not looking away from the window.

"My Lord," He offered a slight bow before nodding to Inko. "My lady, may we intrude?"

"It's up to Izuku," Inko responded.

"It's fine..."

"I heard of your loss, and I'm sorry," Minoru and one of his wives entered the room, holding a bundle in her arms. "In times of loss, I believe it's important to remember what you've saved. My wife, Tatami, was pregnant. She delivered just a few days ago." He knelt next to Izuku's bed. "Had it not been for your actions, I believe we may not have survived. Whether or not it was your intention, you saved my child, my family, and myself. My family is everything to me, therefore, I owe you everything. Should you ever need help, I will come running, no matter the trouble."

"She's beautiful..." Izuku muttered, still not changing his gaze at all.

"Uhm..." Tatami looked confused. "How do you know that, my Lord, you haven't looked at her yet."

"Ever since I used Light-Shift Magic... I feel like I'm seeing more... I'm not just feeling things, I can see it, like an outline in my head." With every battle, Izuku's senses grew stronger and stronger. Of course, it would be meaningless if he didn't have the raw power to back up those incredible senses.

Before, his senses were like echolocation, a general image in his head, but not very clear. He could approximate certain things and that was his limit. Now, having experienced the information overload of Light-Shift, it was like his brain was adapting to the increase in activity. Now, even without looking at someone, he could visualize their face, every detail. It was like 360-degree vision.
