A/N: This chapter I did some different formatting, like with a small excerpt from a fictional book in the middle and changing the way Quirks are displayed for you the reader. I do hope it doesn't get in the way of your enjoyment!

"We have enough materials here for three Transcendent-Class Items," Melissa informed Izuku, much to his own shock.
"Three?!"
"Well, the Divine Rapier on its own can be melted down into something new, and that Calamitous Steel is enough for two weapons."
"Wouldn't it be better to use all the Steel on one?"
"No way!" Mei jumped out. "It's such a potent material that even a fraction of it could be used to make Heroic-Class Items. And at a certain point, you start reaching a barrier of diminishing returns. If we use all of the Calamitous Steel for one item, it would essentially waste 45 percent of the material. It's best to break it in half and make two awesome weapons instead of one!" The girl was jumping around, looking between all the resources they had. "Such a beautiful array!" She was literally salivating over it all. "Are you sure you want to melt down the Rapier though? We could always recode the ownership to you and your advisors so you have it's full power!"
Izuku shook his head. "This is one of the few things me and Melissa will agree on, some weapons aren't worth wielding. Besides, it's not my style."
Melissa nodded in approval, happy to hear that. "Alright, so we've got room for three new Items. It can range from armor and accessories to weapons. Knowing you, I'm sure you want a gun of some sort."
"Hmm... maybe... but I also want a sword. Guns aren't the sort of thing a king carries on him. It's not as elegant."
"So you do have a politician in you," Melissa said.
"Well, that's just my own personal belief. It's not political, it's just my thought process." He tried to hide the fact that it was because all the kingly warriors in Rampage's comics had swords at their hips. In other words, he was being a dork. But he also was exceptionally adept at melee combat of any kind. In this world, a sword wasn't just some metal you swung around, but a serious power boost.
"Alright so a gun, a sword, and something else."
"I want to use the Calamitous Steel on the sword and gun, and save the Divine Rapier for something else. Something a bit more... support-oriented."
"There's something we've been meaning to try out," Mei said with a devious smirk. "I think you might just like this idea."
Izuku held up his hands. "Before we get to that, there's one thing I need to do." He pointed to the pile of materials and the Divine Rapier. "I need at least some of every material aside from the Calamitous Steel."
"Oh right, I forgot Onyx Lords got a Quirk," Melissa said, beginning to sort through the materials. After a couple of minutes, she had a full list. "Alright, now everything is sorted from most valuable to least valuable and accompanied by their Item ranking. And I tabulated all of the Divine Rapiers materials into their raw numbers."

An excerpt from: The Shades of our World, by Jeremy Robinson:
Items, also referred to as gear or artifacts, are magical equipment forged by someone with special abilities, imbuing the weapon, armor, accessory, or item, with special properties.
The process of forging said items depends heavily on the blacksmith's abilities/skills, and what they are trying to forge.
At a minimum, if the blacksmith wants to create a magical item, they must have the physical ability to do so. As in they must learn how to forge metal. They must also have some form of Lumina and be able to learn to control it.
