A year after the attack, when Izuku turned nine, Toshinori and the rest were no closer to figuring out what Izuku's Breath Attack was when they first started looking. He managed to reproduce it a few times, though it was extremely difficult for him, but it hadn't given them any clues. No one had ever heard of anything like it and the NULL House's library didn't have an answer either. Which was why they decided to visit the vast Onyx library in the Council Hall, run by Enji's daughter.

Not only did all five accompany Izuku, but hordes of Onyx guards turned up to ensure his safety. If another Lord appeared, they were ready to tear them to shreds.

The library was underground, housed inside the mountain that the hall itself was built on. It required special clearance, as it recorded pretty much everything in Onyx society, the bad, the good, and everything in-between. Knowing some of Draxia's history, Izuku couldn't blame the council for hiding stuff. Every government had its secrets.

After confirming everyone's identity, they were allowed to access the Updraft Elevator for the library, which was really just a freefall. It was actually a pretty effective system to deter intruders, as only Onyx would be able to naturally halt their fall with their wings. And even if an intruder had some sort of way to bear the brunt of the fall, they'd have no way to get back up, and they'd essentially be stuck inside of a mountain until the Onyx guards came to apprehend them. The library itself even had some sort of Magical deterrence against any sort of teleportation via Magic.

"Me and Rumi will wait here," Enji informed the group.

"Yeah, it's not really easy for me to go up and down those things without breaking something," Rumi added.

Both of their reasons seemed pretty solid for not wanting to go into the library. Rumi for obvious reasons, and Enji because of what happened to the last NULL Lord. No doubt his daughter had personal opinions about what happened to her brother and her father's part in his downfall.

Kaina - who had recovered well - Toshinori, and Ryuko, all went down first to confirm the safety of the room. The library was one of the safest locations in all of Draxia, but they weren't taking any chances.

Regardless, they signaled up to Izuku within a few moments, and he was free to drop down, snapping his wings open just in time to halt his momentum. Of course, he was just strong enough to take the fall, just like Rumi, but he didn't want to damage the Updraft Elevator.

Walking out into the underground chamber, well lit by Magic, Izuku caught his first sight of Enji's daughter.

She had white hair, speckled with flecks of red. Her scales had a similar pattern, which just barely kept her from looking like a Virtue Lord. Scales with two colors were rare and Izuku had only ever seen Chisaki's dual-pattern, so he wasn't too fond of it, but the woman's scales weren't half bad. They reminded Izuku somewhat of a kimono girl with the white and red.

"My Lord," She greeted, bowing her head. For Onyx of high-esteem, it was typical for them to cross their arms or bear their teeth to show dominance. Even when confronted by someone of a higher class, it was seen as respectable to bear one's teeth. That way, Onyx on the council didn't get into shouting matches over who had to bow to who. But for other Onyx, who weren't of such importance, bowing was the proper etiquette. The bow was more of a curtsey than Japan's rigid form. "I am Fuyumi Roku Ir. It is an honor to meet you."

Judging by her last name, she took her mother's maiden name rather than her father's.

"Definitely some tension between her and Enji..."

"How can I assist you today, my Lord?"

So everyone did their best to describe Izuku's Breath Attack, each person throwing in their own little tidbits.
