The bane of my existence

A/N: This is a long one shot so brace yourselves. It is an enemies to lovers trope(but not really) and it is also a IdolXManager trope about Gemini Fourth. I decided to write it out fully so I don't leave y'all in a cliffhanger. I really hope you do like it. 💕🫶

From an outsiders perspective, you might think Fourth is living the dream. At the young age of 26 he had graduated top of his class, and has now been working for one of the biggest entertainment companies in Thailand managing one the biggest artist of the said company, who also happens to be the nation's sweetheart. He made enough money to buy his mother a house and put his little sister through school.

In reality, however, only his best friends knew how miserable Fourth was at his job. The nation's sweetheart just so happens to be the bane of Fourth's existence. Gemini fucking Norawit! Gemini was an absolute sweetheart to his fans. Brands loved working with him because of how well mannered and disciplined he was when it came to his work. He was always praised for his good looks, his amazing voice, and charming personality.

In reality he was a menace, an absolute brat that Fourth always had to pick up after and cover for him. If it wasn't for Fourth Gemini would've ended up in so many media scandals that would've ruined his career by now. From his harem of girlfriends to his drunken endeavors. Fourth had to be on standby 24/7 to the point where his life literally revolved around Gemini like the earth revolved around the sun. For the past 5 years he has been Gemini's manager he hadn't taken a day of leave. Even his off days were cut short because Gemini would be up to something.

The one time he had an off day and was supposed to be chilling with his friends after lord knows how many months of actually not seeing them. Gemini had called him to pick him up from a night club because he got into a fight with one of his girlfriends,  Sarah or was it Fern? Fourth doesn’t remember. When Fourth tried to tell him to fuck off. Gemini had told him, actually threatened should be the word he uses here because Gemini had threatened Fourth he will just drive drunk and if he got into an accident or got  DUI Fourth will be the one left to clean up the mess.

So Fourth had to cut the night short to pick Gemini up. Satang and Mark had been understanding and wished him luck. Lord knows he needed it. When he got to the night club Gemini didn't look like someone who was drunk but Fourth drove him home nonetheless scowling at him in rear view mirror the entire time. That was 2 years ago and Fourth had considered quitting but he had just bought his mother a house that costs millions of baht and still had to pay for his sister's tuition fees.

Since then Fourth had to rent an apartment near where Gemini lived because Gemini would call him at ungodly hours for the most medial tasks. Fourth really hated, with a passion he couldn't even describe in words.

Fourth had to do things he doesn't think any other manager did like attend monthly dinners with Gemini's family. The other thing he didn't mention was that Gemini was an only child and heir to the Titicharoenrak empire. His father was a very strict man but Fourth could see he loved his son nonetheless. Gemini's mother was a beautiful elegant woman who always had a soft smile on her face and Fourth could tell she doted on Gemini a lot.

Surprisingly during the monthly dinner meetings Gemini was always well behaved, a perfect model of a filial son. He listened intently to his father's lectures and accepted being coddled by his mother with great pride. If only his parents knew all the shit he got up to but alas no one would truly ever know because Fourth always cleaned up after him.

Gemini's parents were always kind to him though. For the past 5 years they've always remembered his birthday, Gemini's father always buying him a bottle of liquor that probably costs more than his rent and Gemini's mother always buying and expensive watch or some other type of jewelry. The only thing he has ever gotten from Gemini was a measly "HBD" text followed by demands of what he wanted from Fourth.
