Love...

Scientists describe love as a chemical reaction that is defined into three categories, namely, attachment, lust, and attraction. Each category is characterized by its own set of hormones such as dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine.

Psychologists would define love as a complex emotion that involves affection toward another individual. A sense of tenderness. Sensitivity to their responses.

A random dictionary on the internet defines it as having a profoundly tender, passionate affection, often mingled with sexual desire, for another person.

A religious text would describe love as something that is patient and kind; that  does not envy or boast; that is not arrogant or rude. That does not insist on its own way; that is not irritable or resentful; that does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth.

To Fourth, however, love can simply be described in one word, and that is Gemini.

So when Fourth first met Gemini, it was during his freshman year. He saw this fine looking, tall man with his fluffy hair, a white lab coat with a black turtle neck underneath, and a pair of glasses. The man looked like a character straight out of a manhwa. Truly too good to be real with his broad shoulders and tiny waist.

Needless to say, Fourth was late to his first ever class in uni. He was distracted by this god-like creature of a man. It was worth it, though. Unfortunately, Fourth never got to see the reincarnation of aphrodite again. It turns out uni is very, very different from high school, no matter how gifted of a student you were.  He was swamped with deadlines and practically lived out of the library of Chula law. Turns out studying law is not as glamorous as he saw in "How to get away with murder."

The second time Fourth saw this beauty of a man was during his second year. He was having lunch at his best friend's faculty one afternoon because he hadn't seen him in ages. Phuwin was doing his third year and was swamped with work, especially since he became the TA to one of the second year's physics professors. So Fourth thought it would be kind of him to cut Phuwin's trip short and meet him at his faculty. Because he is such a good friend like that.

What he didn't expect to see was this fine ass man to be talking his bestfriend, at first glance they almost looked the same but the man was taller, his shoulders were broader and his hair longer. He was still wearing a turtle neck, but the absence of the white lab coat made his waist tiny. Fourth was floored but this man's visuals and had to metaphorically lift his jaw off the floor.

"Who was that?" Fourth demanded as soon as he met up with his friend, not even bothering to exchange pleasantries.

"Hello to you too, Fod." Phuwin said with a roll of his eyes.

"Yeah! Yeah! So tell me, who is it?" Fourth says, waving his friend off.

"That’s Professor Norawit. He is my subject advisor, and I am one of his TA's for this year." Phuwin replies reluctantly.

"Well, had I known you guys had professors like that, I would have joined the engineering faculty in a heartbeat." Fourth says fanning himself, only to get an eye roll from Phuwin.

"Don't tell me you are also going to join the legion of his fans, are you?" Phuwin says like this conversation physically pains him.

"Why wouldn't I? That man is sex on legs, I tell you." Fourth replies, and Phuwin groans.

"Eww, don't sexualize my professor." Phuwin says with a frown.

Of course, Phuwin won't be able to appreciate the man's- professor Norawit's visuals like Fourth can because Phuwin is a happily committed relationship since high school. Phuwin has been dating his older brother Pond, even though Fourth has stated many times that Phuwin is just too good for his jock of a brother, but no one listens to him anyways.
