When Khaotung met the man he now called his husband, he had instantly hated him. The man was an arrogant know it all who looked his nose up at everyone. He thought he was the smartest person at med school, smarter than their professors judging from how he always argued with them. The thing that irritated him the most was the plethora of fans he had as if he were some kind of celebrity.

First, Kanaphan Puitrakul was the most infuriating man he had ever met.

"I don't know why you hate the guy so much. He's really not that bad." Earth had said to him.

"P'Earth, you only say that because he is Mix's best friend." Khaotung had argued.

Earth was one of his best friends and a senior of his from high school. He had met Mix at their first year of med school only to find out that Mix was dating Earth. Khaotung didn't understand how someone so down to earth and lively as Mix could possibly befriend someone as rigid and arrogant as that stick in the mud Kanaphan.

"I am not only saying that because he is Mix's best friend. I can form my own opinion without the influence of my boyfriend, you know." Earth had retorted.

"Says the man who despised avocados for as long as I've known him but now enjoys salmon avo toast because his boyfriend makes it for him." Khaotung had said.

"My opinion of avocados was biased just like your opinion on nong.'First is biased." Earth had responded.

"Nong'First." Khaotung had said in a mocking voice before he scoffed,"My opinion on that man is not biased. If anything, it is your opinion on him that his biased since he is Mix's friend. "

Earth sighed in resignation, knowing that he wasn't going to get anywhere with him and handed him a fresh hot cup of choccocino. They've had this discussion multiple times since Khaotung's first year in Med school. Unlike him, Earth had already graduated from business school owning a cute flower café which had the best beverages and pastries and the most beautiful flowers, and Khaotung wasn't biased in this statement.

Him and Mix were close, considering that the guy had been dating his best friend for over three years now but always argued when it came to the subject of one particular First Kanaphan. Mix, from what Khaotung had gathered over the years, was fiercely loyal and protective of First. So, for Earth's sake, they've decided not to broach the topic that is First Kanaphan.

So far, Khaotung's life had been peaceful, and although First irritated him, the two never interacted that much. That was until their professor randomly assigned them on a project that counted 50% over their passing grade, and he was unfortunately paired up with none other than First Kanaphan. He had tried to argue and bargain with his professor to change his working partner, but it was a losing battle.

"Professor, please, surely there must be something you can do. Someone willing to change places with me." Khaotung had pleaded.

"Trust me, Mr Thanawat, I know how many of Mr Puitrakul's fans would love to be in your position. However, I will not be changing the assignment of partners. It's either you solve whatever dispute you have with Mr Puitrakul and work together or you fail the class." Professor Thitipoom informed him, leaving no room for argument.

He couldn't afford to fail the class, especially over something like this. So he would have to work with First and hope they get the project done as soon as possible, and hopefully, they never have to work on another project ever again.

"I don't know what you are complaining about. Working with First, that's a guaranteed A+, you basically got this in the bag." Neo, one of his friends said.

"I rather get a B than work with that insufferable man." Khaotung replied. They were at the Internet café near their uni, where they spent most of their free time working on assignments, studying and getting their much needed caffeine, or people juice like Neo calls it.
