Daiyu couldn't keep the smirk off her face as she made her way back to the courtyard.

Jade could positively expect for Renjun to be currently walking around with the big old smile plastered on his face. If there was one thing she remembered from the book . It was the fact that the crown Prince had a thing for fucking around with people to certain degree. There's very little things you can control in his life but if he could cause mayhem to a degree where it didn't fully affect himself or his family he was down for it. And honestly at this point what would cause more mayhem than the gloomy Prince to go from sad and barely looking at people to walking around with a big old grin on his face looking like the cat that caught the canary.

Plus it would do good for her to be seen around with a smile on her face. Not only because it would make it a little bit if she had some secret but also it would help in her being asked while she was so smiley. The girls in her sector were clearly aware of her being taken in now by Huang shifu.

If she can also get one of the girls interested in asking her why she was so smiley. It'll make it so much easier for her to just be like oh I ran into the ex crown Prince. Letting them know how absolutely kind and charming he wants and also clearly hinting at the fact that that's where she disappeared to after her chores which had ended over an hour ago meaning that she would have just spent at least an hour if not more conversing with the prince to the point that it has her smiling. The girls interceptor would be smart enough to understand that this is something they definitely should hint about to the others well most of them are only aiming for guards and hoping for scholars to want to wed  them.

Not only did they have the smartest girl in their sector but she called the eye of the prince who was actually trained to be the next emperor.

As if the gods and goddesses were looking down upon her her opportunity came way sooner than she had expected. Aeri Huang along with one other girl from her sector spotted her. Now knowing most likely that her father was going to be sponsoring her.

Aeri knew it would be good for the two of them to be seen conversing with each other. As friends and not as enemies. Making her way towards Jade taking note of the sly little grin on her face. You couldn't help but be reminded of her mother she truly had been taught by the Great Master hadn't she.

"Daiyu it's lovely to see you. I was actually looking for you I want to have a conversation and maybe some tea I could have sworn that your chores would have been over about an hour ago did I just happen to miss you?"

Daiyu smiled shyly before shaking her head. A few loose strands falling into her face. Aeri tucking them behind her ear before She could even move.

Eyes twinkling as she spotted all the other girls around now paying close attention to them. As that was quite an intimate thing to do to someone that you were not close with hell. Outside of family or those taken in by your family physical touch especially so close to one's face was almost unheard of during this time.

"Ah no. After we had finished the laundry I had noticed that someone was in one of the trees. I had assumed it was one of the guards but it turned out to be Prince Renjun. He's not as surprisingly depressing as people made him out to be we had quite a lovely conversation as he walked me halfway here. I'm pretty sure we talked a little bit longer at the lake but I wasn't paying attention too much."

A slight smile and laugh left Aeri's mouth. She may not be as cunning as her mother is or as smart as her father. But she recognized the look on Jade's face it was the same with her mother God whenever she was planning on something something big bold and quite interesting to watch. She can only imagine what the petite girl in front of her I was about to concoct with the prince.
