The smell of 澡豆 bath beans penetrated the air. The interesting blend of clove, eaglewood and  peony made it's way into Renjun's nose as he sat outside.

Deciding to sneak away from royal court and his uncle's spy's. He knew for a fact that none of them would sneak into the official hopefuls residencies. No guard would be seen trying to make their way into the courtyard or even within the vicinity of the girls dormitories people would whisper about them and wonder which poor girl they decide to seduce on pregnant. It cause unruly gossip if anything they would sneaking in the middle of the night not in broad daylight.

And the Royal Court and the higher-ups were told to leave the girls alone but they were not allowed to "feel / scout" any of the girls out ahead of time from the banquet. Meaning that it was one of the few places he could currently sneak off to where he was least likely to get caught.

His good friend Yixing being the only one knowing where he had snuck off to just in case he needed to be informed of something. You couldn't help but once again think about how sad it was going to be when one of his two friends left. His other good friend was still off about a 3-day journey away from making it back home from his search.

Renjun sat there on the low hanging tree branch. Watching as a group of women walked out of the dorms. Splitting off into two groups. For a split second he thought about quietly leaving but it was too late.

Three girls with basket's filled with clothing made there towards him and the pond. A small open container of bath beans was sat down with in reach of all there as they started  grabbing garments and cleaning them.

Deciding to just relax and enjoy the smell of the bath beans alongside the sound of clothes being cleansed. He leaned back a bit against the trunk of the tree slightly closing his eyes as he easily watch the girls work. He believed he's out there in total silence with them for about 10 minutes or so before the girl for this from him being a conversation.

"I... Daiyu jiějie you're very brave this morning you know. I think if I had been accused even if I knew I was not the culprit but one of the higher-ups I would have just gotten down on my knees and begged for forgiveness."

Renjun perked up at this. What was she talking about accusations from higher-ups? It would seem there was more going on than was reaching the royal courts.

"NingNing that's very understandable. Honestly I don't think I would have really been able to stand up to Aeri Huang if it wasn't for the fact that I was aware of her being associated with my old friend. I've always known that ZhuZhu has had the hobby and have it of twisting stories and making herself look like the good guy."

He made sure to talk away those names for later. As he looked at the girl closest to him he was surprised to see that anyone would have been able to stand up to a member of the Huang family regardless if it was a false accusation or not. That family was only second to the Royal family itself and at the rate that everything was going at they were probably even more powerful affluential and looked up to you than even the emperor and the princes were.

A snort was heard coming I'm the one in the middle before she broke out laughing. The smile on her face as she turned to Daiyu.

"knowing something and doing what you did are two very different things. Not only did you sit there and expose that naive girl for all that she was but you even got the approval and admiration of Huang shifu. They're very few you can say they did that and you're one of them."
