Daiyu woke up to a storm happening in the hallway. Loud voices and complaints could be heard.

She was positive that she had even heard Old Madame Zhang yelling. For the life of her she couldn't understand what was happening until the voices of ZhuZhu ,Aeri Huang and Huang shifu caught her ear.

"I DEMAND TO SEE HER! I KNOW SHE DID THIS LAST NIGHT!"

"Aeri quite down what is the matter with you."

" jiějie she couldn't have meimei Daiyu is one too..."

" Didn't you say she use to steal your flowers given by your beloved father? So why would she change that know. "

"That's impossible Daiyu was in the room with us all night. Right after the exams Meiying walked her and Jia to the garden then we all walked back here together. No one was near your quarters . We even ran into your mother. "

"HOW DARE YOU LIE!"

"Aeri BE QUITE! We will talk to your mother now let's go you are causing a scene."

"No I will not leave until.."

Daiyu had heard enough grabbing a dressing robe she walked out of the room. Her long hair falling down her back makeup free face seemingly more beautiful and pale then one would think humanly possible. Huang shifu couldn't help but to think the young women reminded him of his wife when they first met she was truly a beauty. The empire would be a fool to let her go.

Jade seemed to glide as she walked over to ZhuZhu and Aeri Huang. Stopping in front of them.

"I'm sorry have just woken up and caught the tail end of that. But I would like to first state I have never stolen anything from anyone. The roses of which you speak of we're bought by my father and my mother they would then gift it to me and ZhuZhu. As you know roses are extremely expensive and dealing that ZhuZhu and her father lived on my parents land and her father worked for my parents as he had gone into debt trying to keep ZhuZhu happy with all the flavors things you'd beg for him to buy her. Her father only allowed for her to have one or two roses at a time and she would then go ahead and steal the ones that I had being upset that I had more than her but I never taken them from her and I never even told the adults about it. I had allowed her to get away with it because as far as I was concerned they were nothing more than silly little flowers and trinkets."

ZhuZhu had started to turn red as Jade continued speaking. She looked equal parts caught and frustrated it really made all of the women around her start to question how stupid she truly was. Why lie about something that could be fact checked.

"You can even as Yixing gēge as he was normally the one to come deliver the roses and he knew exactly how many but to each of us and he knew exactly how many ZhuZhu would end up having before it's left at least two days later."

Turning around and facing Huang shifu. She bowed politely.

"I am unaware of where your daughter is staying in the first place let alone would I be able to somehow sneak over to where she is to steal whatever she is accusing me of. I do not wish for there to be any bad blood or misunderstanding between us if you want you are more than welcome to having any of your personal maids or even your wife and other daughters themselves search my area of the room. As the other girls have stated I was just too exhausted after the exams to do much besides sit in the garden for a little to get some fresh air before coming right back here and falling asleep."

Turning towards Old Madame Zhang and Meiying sending them a kind smile that both equally understood at once as Old Madame Zhang stepped forward.

"Can you do more than willing to allow you to search recorders. But I also must put out there that she has been helping all of the other girls in her sector especially those younger than her in studying for the exams. She has been far too busy using her time helping others to make sure that they all had an equal Fighting Chance of passing to have had time to even try and steal something from your daughter. Not to mention where were the guards? Each of us have God standing out they're very specific times when they would be changing and even then your daughter and her acquaintance had to manhandle their way in here dealing with the guards are unable to touch the young women I'm sure that one of them would have reported about Daiyu whisking her way into a sector that was not her own."
