~5 days before the banquet~

The second Prince
Liang and his wife Chyou  stood outside of The third Prince Tao's residence. The song safely back at home with one of his many nannies.

But you can't help but look at each other their hearts and their minds both heavy as they stood there in the debtor fight one of the many meetings that the princes have been having behind their uncles back behind Renjun's back. That was up until tonight.

"Is this truly smart? I- i feel it might be detrimental to bring him into this now. He is feeling absolutely zero concerned for the country for the empire for anyone outside of himself. He might have once been brave enough to been the crown Prince but now he's nothing more.... I shall not even say what I think you'll probably be bad for the baby to hear it." Chyou whispered to her husband.

Liang neither agreed or difficulties with his wife. As he understood where she was coming from yet he also understood where his other two brothers were coming from. With all the rumors that were swirling around at least for this meeting it would make sense to bring in and see if Renrun most truly changing coming around or allowing for these rumors to just run rampid.

The second Prince Liang wasn't unaware of his pitfalls. None of the princes truly were but if there was something he had learned being the second oldest it was just how unaware Renjun seem to be of his own emotions his own shortcomings and desires.

Then again he couldn't help but once more bitterly think of there past mother. She might have been a great empress but she was a horrible mother. Liang & The first Prince
Chaoxiang we're well aware of their mother shortcomings her need for perfection her want and desire for her family to continue on as higher up no wolf. Her desire for them to surpass even that of the Huang family. Her endurance to the fact that the only reason that family was such high regards as far as everyone was concerned was because of their blood relations to the sitting emperor that if anything was to happen to their family it would be fall onto the Huang line to take over.

紫玉 Ziyu, the empresses favorite child. The son of her beloved sister and long time crush. He remembered it like it was yesterday he was but six and his older brother nine. The two of them were spending their mandatory time with their mother when the news had been given to her. Her sister and her beloved gravely injured during a raid that had happened at the outskirts of the Kingdom were the two of them had decided to resign after the Ruckus that their mother had caused only a year into her marriage with the emperor. Caught sneaking off to meet with the man that she truly loved trying to convince him not to marry her sister.

Trying to find a way to make him one of her lovers to get him into the Palace grounds as a personal advisor. Yet he wanted nothing to do with her he had only ever saw the empress as his beloved's younger sister. He was never in love with her he was kind and gentle because that was what his personality was like and yet that emperor's had found herself all in for him almost as much as her sister had. It was quite the scandal and their father he could not bear the idea of being made a mockery his first thought was to castrate him and then give him to his beloved empress but it was only through the sheer kindness and love and devotion that he knew his sister-in-law had for her husband that he allowed the two of them to have a grand wedding at the palace before being sent on their way to the outer skirts of the Kingdom.

Allowing them to live happily together but as far away from the empress as possible. Hoping that this would allow for her foolish crush to die out but it did not instead she moved better towards her own husband but also determined to make sure that she raised the most elite children around.

Should giving him his sons not out of love or obligation to the kingdom but for her own selfish reasons. As far as she was concerned the more son she had the higher the statistics for her to make sure that one of them would have to succeed as being the next emperor. We should have gotten the news of her beloved death it had further solidified it. Poor foolish Renjun I never picked up on the fact that even his name itself was after the man his mother truly loved. That their father was harder on him during his younger years until he had shown his worth because of that namesake because of the hatred he had in his heart the reason their father never called him by his name instead choosing to always call him Juju.
