There was once a little girl
She smiled with light of the moon over an ocean
Her eyes shimmered like stars, and her energy was as radiant as the sun
Nobody could touch her
Light bounsing off every surface, she lit up any room she entered it was not blinding but soft and warmOne day, she found a place her light couldn't touch
So off she went
To fill the hole in the hurting hearts all around
But as she shown her light into those dark halls
Shodowy cliff faces
And damp caves dripping with solfur
She relised to late the mistake she'd made by straying to far off the path
Suddenly, she found herself lost in the woods far from home
Desperately, she serached for the autom covered dirt path that had her on the right track
Unfortunately, there was no sign of it
And her light was all used up
The trees began to darken
Whispering
The wind whiseling through their branches
There silhoets looming over her
She began to run
So lost and alone
And scared
She had so much trouble seeing that she ran straight into a stranger, knocking them both over
Apologiseing with the despatation of a sinner, she helped them back up
Yet instead of being angry, they offered her their hand
So
She took it
Following along on their path with them hoping it would somehow lead her back to hersAfter hours
Days
Months
Years
She finally court sight of the familiar orenge and red trees of her autam path
But so scared to get lost agin if left alone she continued onward with the stranger who had now become her whole world
How could they not be
They'd saved her
So she walked beside them side by side
To scared to leave
No matter how many times they found her path
She was to scared to let go of their hand
So scared
So small
Because after all
She was only a little girl
A little girl
Who didn't want to be alone
