I swallow my pain, deep down inside
My heart is alive with fire
But within that fire, my heart slowly dyes
Withering and withering away
There once lived a girl, with such a sweet smile
It would brighten the saddest of days
But when the rain came, and she could not run
It washed that bright smile away
Onwards she walked, filling there hearts
With nothing left for herself
But when she was empty, they all disappeared
And a stretcher carried her out
People would smile, people would laugh
But she couldn't utter a word
Even though her mask, was coverd in cracks
She wouldn't dare to be herd
But one of those days, covered in tears
She met a boy with bright blue eyes
The rain from her past, that darkened her days
Was now a light and peaceful shower
She danced in the haze, a smile on her face
The boy just stood there and watched
He held her hand, and sung her a song
That lit her heart back on fire
