Rainbows
Colours bursting from everything
Pink purple blue green
Red
So why can I only see in black and white
The lake in front of me ripples
Fish jumping with glee and splashing back into the emobile glassy surface
No longer still
Ripples spread from the point where they fall
Easily seen
But when I touch the water the ripples seem to move inward
Like there bottling up in my parm and I have no control over it
My monatone saroundins seem to be loming over me
But there just trees who wouldn't even notice if I disappeared into the lake without a sound
Without a ripple
I run my had along the surface and with a sigh look up at the sky
And I fall
Splashing into the water
And suddenly I can see in colour
Even though the muddy blackness consumes me
A hand reaches down into the dark merky water and I take it
For my splash was not ignored
It was herd
