(Jungkook's POV)
Another week went by before we saw Adeline again. This time being brought in by another guy, dressed nicely, but anyone could tell she wasn't happy. She avoided eye contact with anyone and everyone, and mainly kept her mouth shut.
The guy hadn't stopped talking once they had come in, and I swear I had seen her roll her eyes a few times. It was only when she offered to get the guy a refill on his drink could you see any real emotion on her face. She looked tired.
Taehyung and I watched as she walked over from the table they had been sitting at before she brought the glass up to the counter. Before I could say anything she was cutting me off. "Refill please, you can just bill his card." She said as she sighed softly, she still wouldn't meet anyone's eyes.
I refilled the glass with bourbon as the man had asked for to begin with, not saying a single word. She thanked me as she took the glass back to the guy, and then she was back to rolling her eyes and listening to the guy talk about boring old work.
As he had been drinking his second drink the guy had asked her if she could dance and her eyes had moved along the packed dance floor. Her face showed a very unsure look as I could hear her tell the man that she knew how to dance. She sounded very wary about this though.
"Man, why can't she go anywhere else on these dates? Seeing her in front of me just makes me want to rip the head off the guy she's with and just take her somewhere else. She said she was in college, who in college dates this much?" Taehyung said in a frustrated tone as he stood beside me and I had to agree a bit with his words. It was definitely hard to watch this, especially since she was so unhappy all the time.
I watched as the man and her got up to go and dance as he finished off his drink. Just as he was about to grab her arm his phone went off, and I heard him excuse himself before he walked outside to deal with the call. The music was pretty loud in here, and something told me Yoongi had made it a bit more louder on purpose tonight.
I watched as Adeline stood there for a minute before she made her way towards the bathrooms and I chose this moment to strike. I dropped my towel on top of the bar. "You can cover the bar by yourself for a bit right?" I asked Tae and he nodded before I made my way towards the bathrooms.
I knew this was stalker behavior, but I just couldn't stand aside while she looked so unhappy. As I leaned against the wall across from the bathroom waiting for her to come out I could hear her mumbling something to herself. She had the water running so I couldn't hear exactly what she was saying. A minute later she was stepping out of the bathroom, and as her eyes landed on me she seemed to relax a bit.
"Following a girl to the bathroom? That seems like stalker behavior." She told me as she leaned back on the wall across from me.
"Well I needed to check on someone that went in there." I told her and she looked confused at that.
"Check on me why? Last time I checked we barely knew each other, I've just come to the club a few times." She said and my stare intensified. Did she really just say that?
"You did just get attacked outside of our club about a week ago, or did you forget about that because of your dreams being filled with us?" I asked her and she finally met my eyes to glare at me, but I could see hurt in her eyes as well as some confusion.
"Listen I told you guys that in confidence, okay? You don't get to hold that over my head or whatever, it's not like I can control my dreams. If I could I would be dreaming of very different things." She told me in an angry tone as she looked away from me momentarily. "And since you didn't ask, I'm fine. I couldn't be better." I heard her say and I scoffed before stepping towards her.
