It has been about two weeks since I had let Hoseok know what Tara had said in my dreams, it didn't seem like he had said anything. But I had also been sleeping on the couch a lot, the air in my room was just too heavy.

It was currently almost six in the morning as I stood on the balcony, watching the rain fall. The balcony had an awning so I didn't have to worry about getting wet, plus the rain made me feel calm.

It was dark outside still, the sun hadn't risen yet. I had an insatiable love for the darkness, ever since I could remember it made me feel safe. I know for a lot of other people it was the exact opposite.

As I stared out at the city below I let all my worries get washed away with the rain, before I felt a presence behind me. I turned to see Namjoon in the doorway to the balcony.

"You're supposed to be sleeping." He told me as he stepped out onto the balcony himself.

"I couldn't sleep, too much on my mind." I told him as I turned back so I was facing the rain once again.

"You haven't been sleeping a lot lately." He told me and I didn't respond because I didn't know how to.

He turned me gently so I was facing him. "What's troubling you that you won't tell us?" He asked me and I couldn't look up at his face as I just shrugged.

"Why do you care? I mean why would any of you care about what's troubling me?" I asked him and I could see his body visibly tense as he tilted my chin so I was looking up at him.

"Why do you think we wouldn't?" He asked me as he looked between my two eyes, trying to gauge my emotions. He wasn't the emotions specialist, Jimin was.

"I'm not her." I said in a soft tone as I looked down again, before continuing. "I'm only here because my father owed you a debt and I was traded for it. You guys have no reasoning to care for me the way you do." I told him as I suddenly felt breathless. The thoughts that had been plaguing my mind finally being set free like the downpour behind us.

He made me look up at him once again before he held the stone on my choker in his hand. "You wouldn't have something like this if we didn't care about you, Adeline." He told me as he let the stone rest against my skin.

"It could be just you guys doing your duty to protect me, the contract states that you're supposed to be protecting me while I stay with you guys for a year." I told him not wanting to believe any of his words.

"Addie, You're not here because of a debt to us, you're here because of a debt to Zane. I took you before he could get you." He told me and my eyes went wide as all I felt was shock and hurt. Shock because history did almost repeat itself, and hurt because him and all of them had been lying to me this entire time.

"But...why...?" I asked him and he just looked back into my eyes.

"We couldn't let history repeat itself with you. We didn't know you were the debt we would end up collecting, but when Yoongi told me I immediately agreed. Zane would have showed up that night and taken you, I knew that so I told Yoongi to take you. He didn't want to, but he agreed with me, he didn't want you to die at Zane's hands. None of us did." He told me his voice thick with emotions, emotions I couldn't pinpoint.

"Why not tell me the truth then? Why lie to me. It's been a month and you've never told me about this, none of you have." I told him in a hurt tone. A part of me was thankful for what him and all of them had done, but another part of me was still hurt that they hadn't told me the truth.

"You would have left, and you wouldn't have been safe." He told me in an emotionally honest tone as I just looked off to the side.

I couldn't confess what I had to while looking at him. "I wouldn't have left. I'm safe here, happier here even. You guys don't make me go on dates to pay the bills and crap, and you guys actually care about my nightmares and stuff. One week after my sixteenth birthday and my parents legit soundproofed my room while I was away at school. They never cared, but you guys do. I've always felt safe with you guys, well besides the first time I saw you but that was mainly out of shock. I..."I began to say before I jumped when I heard thunder overhead and he wrapped his arms around me.
