It had been a week since that dream where I was able to say goodbye to my parents. Tara hadn't shown back up once in my dreams since. I was actually starting to worry about her although I knew nothing could happen to her.
I was currently eating a snack, fruit salad that had been made by both Jin and I. If you can believe it I actually helped make food, I mean I washed the fruits and he cut them up then he added everything to the bowl and let me mix it. He was trying to make me not feel as left out maybe? I had no idea, but the fruit salad was good.
I chewed on a piece of strawberry when the elevator doors opened up and I sat up to see Namjoon with a couple of police officers behind him. Namjoon looked down at me before he sat down beside me. A feeling of unease immediately set in as I just looked at them, at least one of them was a vampire.
"These are the detectives that are currently handling your parents' case, they needed to talk to you about the case." Namjoon told me and I nodded before I watched the two of them as they sat down. I set my bowl of fruit salad down on the coffee table.
"What can I do for you two?" I asked them in a friendly tone as one of them just took a notepad out of their jacket.
"We'd like to ask you about the night of your parents' death, and them if that's okay." One of them told me and I nodded as I interlocked my fingers together.
"Ask me whatever you would like, I want you guys to get whoever did this." I told them as they nodded.
"So where were you when you got the call?" One of them asked me.
"I was at the club owned by my boyfriends. I was up in the office working on some of my college work and then out of nowhere I got the call and answered it. I called the police soon afterwards." I told them as Namjoon grabbed my hands before pulling them apart from each other and then he took my hand in his.
"And how long has it been since you'd talked to your mother or your father before that?" The other one asked me and I just thought about that for a moment.
"I think a few months, it's been since I moved in here and that was early in the school year." I told them and they nodded as the one wrote something down in their notepad.
"Why had it been so long though since you two had talked? Did she maybe not like your boyfriends or something?" The officer asked me and I shook my head a bit.
"To be really honest with you guys, my parents were having a lot of financial problems I believe. I'd heard them argue a lot about my father owing money to someone for some reason. I didn't hear any names or anything, but it became kind of hard to live with them and try to focus on school. So I moved out one day, my parents knew about it. They agreed with my idea." I told the officers, lying through my teeth.
"Alright thank you for letting us know. Where were your boyfriends the night of your parents' death?" He asked me and I answered right away.
"They were all at the club with me, they all work there. It was a busy night, and once I had gotten the call they closed the club and took me home." I told them and they nodded softly before I saw the cops look at each other.
"I believe that should be all, we're sorry for your loss by the way. If you can remember anything else your boyfriend has my card and you can use it to get a hold of me anytime." The one who had asked all the questions said and I nodded before watching them walk out and enter the elevator.
Once the elevator doors were shut I relaxed back into the couch. "I wasn't wrong right, at least one of them was a vampire?" I asked him as I picked back up my fruit salad.
"Yes, you're correct." He told me as I just nodded and he wrapped one of his arms around my waist. I went back to eating my salad as I leaned my head against his shoulder.
I continued to eat my fruit salad in silence until the elevator dinged once again and in walked Hoseok with a couple of bags in his hands. Namjoon had been a little bit more lenient with the rules lately.
"What's all that?" I asked him as I pointed at the bags with my fork as Hoseok sat down beside me and set the bags at his feet before taking out a box of a red colored hair dye.
"Hair dye, you said you wanted to dye your hair again and you weren't sure what color so I showed the lady at the store a picture of you and got whatever colors she said would look good on you." He said and I shook my head softly.
"She probably told you almost all of them then huh?" I asked him and he looked down at the bags before nodding and I laughed softly before finishing off my fruit salad. "Thank you though, although we could have all gone together. It's been like two weeks since I've left here last, I could use some fresh air." I told him before I thought over all that the guys had done on their own.
Yoongi had gone and packed up the rest of my old room before bringing it all here with Jungkook and Hoseok's help. They had currently told their club's clientele that it was closed for renovations. And then Hoseok shows up with the hair dye.
Before I could speak the words I was thinking Namjoon spoke up. "You can get fresh air from the balcony or opening a window." He told me and that just confirmed it.
I sprung up off the couch and look down at both of them. "How long are you guys going to keep me under house arrest?" I asked them as I crossed my arms across my chest.
The two of them both shared a look with each other before they looked back at me. "After what you told Jimin and Jungkook after you woke up from the dream where you said goodbye to your parents, we've been too worried to let you go outside. Even if you were out with all of us, we might not be enough to protect you and we wouldn't be able to live with ourselves if anything happened to you. So be mad with us all you want, but we refuse to let anything happen to you." Namjoon said in an honest tone and I just sighed softly.
"I can't be mad at you guys, you guys are only trying to protect me. That's just something I'll have to accept, but seriously house arrest?" I asked as I just shook my head softly. "You do know us humans have very fragile mental health. By not going outside it can deteriorate very quickly, making us go crazy." I told him as Namjoon just smiled up at me.
"Says the woman who is dating four vampires, and three hybrids. Anyone who would say yes to that is crazy." Namjoon said and I just glared at him, and he just laughed at my glare.
"I'm not crazy, I apparently belong with you guys if you remember correctly." I told him and he just nodded at my words, but he hadn't stopped laughing yet.
"I'm going up to my room, you can bring the bowl back out to the kitchen." I told him as I went to walk away and he just captured my waist with his arm before bringing me down to sit on his lap and before I knew it his lips were on mine.
I tried in vain to not give in, I was still angry with him, but I still gave in and melted into the kiss. As soon as he didn't have any resistance from my side he bit my lip hard, but not hard enough to draw blood. I gasped out and he just took the chance to snaked his tongue inside my mouth. I wrapped my arms around his neck as I sat on his lap sideways.
Namjoon cleared his throat and my cheeks heated up as I pulled back from Hoseok. I had kind of forgotten that he was here not gonna lie.
"You guys do know the bedrooms are just upstairs, not too far away right?" He asked and my cheeks only heated up more at his words.
I got up off Hoseok's lap as I just shook my head and made my way up to my room, alone.
