Chapter Twenty Nine

It had only been a couple of days since we had all gotten the news and I was still confused as to why I had to go, again I was only human. I had no place at the vampire council, especially since it was in a whole different country. 

I looked over from my drawing as Jin and Namjoon were packing my bags for the trip ahead of us. "Remind me why I have to go again?" I asked them and Namjoon looked my way as he thrown a handful of clothes at Jin. 

"Since Zane has committed new crimes he is to have another trial. They say they're close to capturing him and afterwards he will be sentenced for his crimes. They're having the trial before he is captured so that way they can just hand out the sentencing." Namjoon said as I just shook my head. 

"Still doesn't make sense why I have to go there." I told them as I went back to shading in the shadow of the building I was drawing. 

"To the council you are our pet, meaning you go everywhere with us. You are always to be by our sides. Not to mention Zane is after you, and they're hoping that he'll follow us to Romania and show himself. There is also the fact that they want you to testify as much as you know at the trial." Namjoon said as I tore out the drawing before crumpling it up and throwing it somewhere in the room. 

"I thought we established I wasn't supposed to be bait for them to use, or else I'd just walk outside right now. They want bait, I'll be bait. But why must I go to a completely different country to be bait?" I asked them and Jin picked up my crumpled paper before uncrumpling it. 

"They don't only want to use you as bait though, they need you for the trial. Also again where we go, you must go and we have to be there because of the mountain of stuff he's done to us. The bait thing isn't even five percent of the reasoning why they want you there." Jin said as he looked down at my drawing before looking back at me. "Where have you seen this building?" He asked me and I shrugged a bit. 

"I probably saw it one of my dreams, why?" I asked him and he only showed it to Namjoon who looked back at me. 

"What kind of dream did you have when you saw it?" Namjoon asked me in an urgent tone as I just grabbed the stone on my choker. 

"It wasn't in a good dream, I never remember any of my good dreams. Why? What is that building?" I asked them and Namjoon sighed before Jin looked back over at me. "What is that building guys?" I asked them as my anxiety only grew. 

"It's the building for the council in Romania." Jin told me and I just shook my head softly as I stood up from my chair. 

"I've never seen that building outside of my dreams. How is that even possible?" I asked them and Jin sent me a sympathetic look as Namjoon just sent me a knowing look. 

"You've talked about blessings that you have since Tara sacrificed herself for us, what if prophetic dreams are one of them. It would explain your dreams about Zane." He told me and I just shook my head. 

"Tara hasn't said anything about gifts or abilities that I would have. Hell I haven't seen her in almost two weeks. Saying I have some blessings and then saying I have an ability is kind of stretch." I told them as both of them shook their heads and I took a deep breath before I could start to drown in a panic attack. "I'm really hoping you both are wrong." I told them before I closed my eyes softly and focused on controlling my breathing. 

"Adeline, what happens in your dreams with this place?" Namjoon asked me in a worried tone and I opened my eyes back to up to see that they had moved closer to me. 

I held out my hand as I saw Namjoon take a step closer to me. "Take a look yourself." I told him and he took the last step before taking my hand in his and closing his eyes to focus.
