Ch-40
The journey towards their kingdom led the brothers' thoughts astray, as each of them found their minds wandering to their respective lovers. Jimin, a hint of uncertainty in his voice, mused aloud, "I don't know how she's doing, what's going on with her." Hoseok agreed, adding, "We need to meet them, to ensure they are safe and sound."
The brothers exchanged glances, their concern for their loved ones evident. Yoongi asked, "Are all of you going?"
Jungkook responded with a nod, "We can always return here after meeting them."
Jin, the voice of caution, reminded them, "But make sure not to alert our enemies."
Taehyung, however, expressed a valid point, "But we don't even know who we can consider as enemies."
The brothers engaged in a lively discussion, each emphasizing the importance of ensuring their loved ones' wellbeing. Hoseok pleaded with Yoongi, "We should all go. We need to confirm that all seven of them are fine."
Yoongi initially hesitated but after being playfully persuaded by the others, he acquiesced, "Fine... but I can assure you, not even a demon can touch her."
The others chuckled and rolled their eyes at his overprotective tone.
"What? I am telling the truth" Yoongi stated, "and i guess she isn't missing me either"
"Hyung!" Hoseok added.
"Even if she is not missing you, she is your responsibility, don't forget she is your fiance" Jin said
"I forgot everything and he is saying don't forget" Yoongi muttered.
Namjoon laid out a plan for the upcoming evening. "Alright, so around evening time, we'll be back here," he stated.
He added a stern warning, emphasizing the potential dangers of being out after sunset. "Don't be late. It's too dangerous at night."
The brothers nodded and split up into pairs, setting out on their respective journeys to meet their loved ones. Jin and Jimin stuck together, while Hoseok and Jungkook paired up. The others, Yoongi, Taehyung and Namjoon, went their separate ways.
Jin called out to Jimin, requesting his assistance in reaching the balcony. Jimin nodded in agreement. However, Jimin couldn't resist teasing Jin, adding, "But hyung, you aren't too heavy, right?" Jin responded with a playful glare, clearly not amused by his younger brother's lighthearted jab.
As Jimin approached the lakeside and fixed his gaze upon the familiar figure, he was momentarily captivated. She was dressed in a navy blue gown, her hair meticulously pulled into a bun. Their eyes met, and time seemed to stand still for a moment before he snapped out of his trance.
She stepped towards him and enveloped him in a warm embrace, her voice trembling. "You... you are alright."
Jimin reciprocated the embrace, pulling her closer and peppering her head with gentle kisses. He reassured her softly, "I am alright... I am fine..." He pulled away and kissed her forehead. "I missed you" Luna whispered with happy tears. "I missed you too..."
Jin cautiously made his way through the seemingly endless corridor, taking refuge behind a door to evade detection from the guards. He peeked inside the room and entered, only to find a figure lunging toward him in attack. However, he swiftly caught her hands, preventing any harm.
Amelia's eyes widened, her disbelief evident. "You are alive!!"
Jin rolled his eyes, a hint of amusement on his face. "You thought I died?"
Amelia didn't respond, but the relief in her voice was evident. "No... but it's good, you're fine."
Jin's gaze softened. "I hate to admit this...." Amelia took a deep breath, "i did miss you" She was looking away and Jin chuckled. "You missed me?" He smirked and she glared at him. "I am gonna beat you with this stick now" She chased him, "hey hey wait" Jin ran around the room.
